Good question, but really I don´t know in this case.

I think it falls under fair use in some way. Similar to how music at festivals does. Plenty of producers at festivals get away with playing remixes of popular music because it hasn’t been released and so doesn’t fall under the category of them directly profiting from it. That’s why there are a lot of remixes played at festivals that don’t get official releases, because to make an official release would mean needing to pay the original artist or label for use of the song as they would then profit. I suspect the visuals fall under a similar umbrella.
