Wow. Our twins were born at 22 weeks and 5 days. One lived only a few hours the other clung to life like he was sent here to do something. I searched for positive stories like your to keeps our spirits up. Has been in the NICU for 3 months now. The only serious surgery needed was for a PDA ligation and a few blood transfusions. he has recently been taken of oxygen all together and eats like his father lol. waiting for him to come home soon. It’s my opinion that babies born like this are fighters for them to beat such odds there is a spirit in them that is strong willed and determined. The UK only changed the DNR law on babies born less than 23 weeks only 2 years ago. This journey has thought us that there is medicine but there is also GRACE. Congratulations on your miracle

My baby was born 23 weeks 2 days but The hospital didn’t save my baby they leave him without oxygen-according to Australian law they save babies from 24 weeks

Don't think I could handle any kind of screwed up kid. Can barely care for myself sometimes. Other times, I can take on the weight of the world. Depends on my vacillating mental state. Beyond the googly baby comments, can anyone out there relate? Thank you for your time.
