Its kind of strange that so few people realize that it was DAVE MASON providing the guitar counterpoint on the Jimi Hendrix studio version of this number.

This is a fantastic cover of the original Bob Dylan track.Which we all know Jimi Hendrix re-recorded to become one of the all-time greatest songs(#50 of TOP 500 songs). But, this version stands alone as the one to get the juices flowing if you are a Real Rocker.

Awesome cover. Really captured the psychedelic rock feel of Hendrix version but made it his own. Only wish he had of gone longer at the end, I could listen to him play all day. Never thought I'd hear a better cover of this song than the classic rock band, but this one comes damn close.

I saw Dave Mason do this song live in the '70s, in S.F. This song, live up close, was awesome and amazing. His enthusiasm is amazing with effortless grace, with a guitar, and voice. His group was just as amazing as well. A great concert. With three encores. Oh, yeah!
