wow - I bought one new in about 76 or so - ordered from cali shipped to South Carolina - had blue Kryptonite wheels- one I had was REALLY thick though.
That’s awesome! Such a cool little cruiser. This one was about 3/4” thick maybe little more.
@@LucidGrip2016 It was a special order as I recall- extra thick with kick - and steel scrape plate on the back. Wish I still had it but my little brother took it one day and left it at the bottom of the pool and I never saw it again - ordered out of a magazine of course - was like $200 + at the time a lot of $ for a 14 year old!
Great for steps , up to a house etc. Thank you for great products!
nice work, that came out awesome!
Thanks it helpful
That’s a BOY BOY 🤟🏾🔥🔥🔥
Trash
Thank you! 🎉
I will he making my own, try to stop me
Can't believe you sanded off the logo😢,
Everything the Horns do is awesome. No one make a better surf skate board.
Do you know any bushings you can buy to replace the ACS bushings? Great video BTW 👊🏻🛹
Make sure to put that plastic cap back on!
Would this product work on a penny board with a plastic wafflecone surface?
I probably better then a normal griptape but worse then on a wood deck. Have you tried to use something to even out the flat spots? Like some sort of flexible resin maybe?
Hi, do you need to add a layer of varnish or something before applying the Lucid grip kit?
Yes, it’s best to have a finish on the surface prior to applying Lucid.
@@LucidGrip2016 thanks for the tip! would you have a product to recommend?
Very cool man my friend has a hobie skateboard that is very easy for me to ride the trick board is too hard but I just want the same board as him
wow amazing clean up. i found this deck on marketplace (Argentina) but with randal r2 truck and seismic wheels. i will do your clean. thanks 4 da video. Regards from Buenos Aires
Thank you for the tips for Hamboard classic 6’6 what grip would you recommend?
Thank you have a nice lucid deck my favorite. I'm getting ready to buy different bamboo deck standard 7.58 anime to learn how to put your lucid spray tape on that one and yes I really do love my lucid deck thank you for my beautiful board. I get a lot of compliments. Plus I know how to ride the s***out of it 😂🎉❤
Because who is Kacie?
Guys do you know who’s Kacie?
Why is it coloring it?
Sorry, not sure I understand the question.

How can i get the REVENGE BUSHING KIT sent to Brazil? Thanks!
You can get a new bushing kit from Select Dist - selectskateshop.com/collections/revenge-trucks/products/revenge-bushing-kit
Beautiful board!
Thank you! Super fun to ride as well.
I just snagged one on Monday. Can’t wait 😊👍
@@bluetrust2002nice! Just looked up the order. It’s headed out today I believe. Hope you enjoy it!
@@LucidGrip2016 Sweeeet! Thanks guys.
I love the way you can recreate the vintage decal. I have skate boarded for decades and I hope I will do it for a long long time. Your videos are great and saving boards from the past is cool.
Thank you! I have a lot more older boards that I’ll be refurbishing soon.
Nice. Looks kinda like a drifter. Awesome work on the decal.
Awesome job. That thing looks like black glass.diggin thee eoller derby in the back ground. That was my first board in 1967.I was 5.Damn I'm old but I'm still riding my koastal Wave Dancer I got from you.
Using the extra step of stripper really isn't necessary I just use 120 grit and sand it works just as well plus removes adhesive. Vapo-Rust works great to for hardware nuts and such for rust remover.
Never heard of the Vapo-Rust I will defiantly have to look into that. The Apple Cider vinegar has been working out great but its a slow process.
Harbor Freight has Vapo-Rust and it only takes maybe 30 minutes but I like to let it soak over night on harder rust corrosion.@@LucidGrip2016
I typically look on marketplace local thrift shops and pawn shops for boards and refurb the trucks board and whatever else.@@LucidGrip2016
Trucks that have heavy grind marks or gouges you can use a sander and 120 grit to sand the gouges out or smooth them out. I then prime and paint trucks to whatever color I want with a coat or two of clear over it.
Thanks for the info! The gouges/scuff marks on these trucks were not to bad but yeah I will try out your method see how it works out.
looks cool.....but i didn't learn much
Thank you for the feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve the videos. What would you have liked to see more of?
Do you have an tutorial because I want to coat my board
There will be a full length video on making this deck coming out Friday. I also have a tutorial on using the epoxy: ruclips.net/video/ub1Qb8EBmrk/видео.htmlsi=QF6ZFjRA3VDl3jRR
Those turned out great. Love the contrast
Thank you!
That looked like something you could make sell for a good price
Thank you! We do post the resin boards we make on our website. They are all sold out except this one is still available. www.lucidgrip.com/collections/lucid-resin-art-boards
I've been looking forward to a new video.Looks great. The clear on the bottom of the deck really adds a great finish.Thank y'all for your efforts.I appreciate you.
so funny you released this. i just cleaned up and regripped my arbor pin tal about a week ago!
Haha awesome! How did it turn out?
@@LucidGrip2016beautiful! i used medium grit and it's like a brand new 20 year old board!
What does this do? Super cool!
😂
Yes, lots of emotions it’s ok to cry.
Dang, she’s a pretty board 👏👏👏
How many boards could you reseal with the 2.7 oz lucid laquer?
If by “reseal” you mean regrip with a surface that has a finish on it, you should be able to get two 40” decks. The liquid will usually run out first.
✋ Promo_SM
Awesome video what kind of grit sandpaper do you use? and could you just sand it down by hand?
For this board I just used 180 paper. This deck had regular grip tape on it and I find just peeling it off is easier but I’m sure you could sand it off just not sure of the end result or mess it would create.
Thank you what grit would you recommend for boards with lucid grip already installed. (For taking it off and reapplying)
@@jcerenzie5572 I would use like an 80 grit then use a more fine paper after you removed the grip to smooth the deck back out. I have another video on removing lucid with a paint strip material then sanding it out. Less sanding. But if you just want to get it done without the chemicals then yeah just go at it with a sander.
Dose this work on other boards I have a painted electric long board and want some clear grip tape
Hi, yes you can this on other boards. Does your board currently have grip on it now?
Great Video! I do have a question though. What did you insert into truck the holes so that the epoxy doesn't fill them and was it hard to remove once the epoxy was fully cured or did you just drill the epoxy in the holes out after it's been fully cured. I've seen people put tape on the top side of the decks so the epoxy doesn't drip through, but I'm not sure how to keep the holes from filling with epoxy if I wanted to hang a Skateboard deck on the wall.
Hi, thanks for the comment. I use to do the tape thing but was a pain and took to much time. I found some silicone plugs in Amazon that work really well. They will not stick to the epoxy so you can still pull them out even after a day or two. www.amazon.com/Swpeet-Silicone-Protective-Assortment-Anodizing/dp/B07KJYPGT5/ref=mp_s_a_1_15_sspa?keywords=Rubber+Silicone+Plugs&qid=1690032672&sr=8-15-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfbXRm&psc=1

Sorry not sure I understand the comment or question. Can you clarify?

Inspiring! How much weight do you think this added to the board? It’s a small deck, so I doubt it’s much. I’m considering something somewhat similar for an 11.5’ standup paddleboard!
Thanks! For these smaller boards the weight gain is really not noticeable. I have some 48” decks fully epoxied on the bottom and I have a blank. I’ll do a weight comparison and get you an answer.
I don’t skate. The reason I was brought to this video is I have a custom phone case I really like, but there’s no grip. Understanding that’s not the intended purpose of your spray-on grip… could y’all possibly show how well a design might be able to show through by applying it to a slick phone case?
What’s the material of the phone case?
