As a and fan and yo-yo player, this is a trick I must learn

I tried to do this but I couldn't get enough speed for it to bind easily, but I found if I toss the yoyo slightly into the air as I'm binding then it works. I toss it up by pulling on both sides of the strings when it's in the binding position then I immediately bind as it's in the air.

What kind of yoyo do you use? Been yo-yoing for a couple months now and looking for an upgrade

Man I can't get that slack off the hop

I've just switched to unresponsive yo-yo and I'm finding no matter how straight I throw the yo-yo I get wobble and vibration. I know the yo-yo itself is fine because I can smooth it out with a fingernail. What could be going wrong with my throw? I do it exactly like every tutorial says. Thanks!

At the ending part where you remove the non yoyo hands finger i always end up with an extra string with my wrist mount and can not figure this out lol

do I need an unresponsive yoyo to do this trick?

The extra gap in the string from the break away is really helpful. My son is 9 he wanted a yoyo. so I picked one up for both of us and have been learning tricks together. This was the first trick he wanted to learn. Well besides the DNA😂. After having the yoyo trying and failing for a month and a half we come across this video and are able to do boingy finally. literally in the same day we watched this video, thanks!. It's crazy how such a simple looking trick was so difficult to understand. We were doing the first 50 tricks and had made it pretty far through it. this one so far took the longest to learn. And I just mean learn not perfect by any means but atleast now there is something to build on .on the bright side of failer It did help with getting better at quick wind tricks.
