Meehow Builds - My m52 Turbo E30
Happy New Year everyone! While my MINI project is partly on hold because the machine shop in California is having a hard time finding my block.... I'm switching gears and working on a few projects.
I make these videos to document builds for myself so I can look back in the future. I don't claim to be a professional by any means, but I enjoy working on cars and building them and I hope that you all that watch the channel get out there and build something. It doesn't have to be perfect. If you enjoy it, do it and who cares what people think. Don't forget to take the time to recharge your battery.

Apex Idaho held its first ever official event and Meridian Speedway which was previously known for Circle track use. With the small additions of some infield kick outs the track is now able to host a variety of events and drifting is one of them! It’s sitting 😅 my engine is temporarily missing in California…. I need to fly out there and pay a shop a visit. I promise I’ll be getting back to it. I’ve filmed a lot of content over the last year but haven’t edited it together so now I’m getting through it all. I’m hoping to start some work up on the mini as soon as my e36 drift car is done which will be introduced shortly 😂😂😂

Amazing! That's exactly what I want to do to my Mini. Does somebody know how to control the clutch built in the diff? If it doesn't get power is it locked? If it's locked is it fully locked or is it like viscous clutch? Is there a way to open and close it somehow?
I haven't done the testing yet. My plan is to use the 5v signal from the accelerator pedal to control the clutch pack. I also will have a switch to turn on constantly engaged, and disengage to go back to front wheel drive.

Sitting collecting dust :( I need to fly out to California and get my engine from a guy that's avoiding me. He's had it for 2 years now... I'll be posting some updates on all the builds shortly life has been busy as always, but soon we are getting back to it!

Are these events going to be announced on BoiseDrift or Idaho Drift? I'm new to those groups, and this would have been a cool event to attend.
I'm so sorry I didn't see this! there are a few boise groups. The ones I attend are the Idaho Drift events. Next year things will be more organized and announced in advance!
now having a rear axle, how would u put an exhaust on it? im interested on doing an awd conversion but i dont know how to put an exhaust, here in spain the laws are very restrictive.
I haven't fully decided but I will most likely do something like a muffler from an 340i and figure out the tubing. There's always an option for a hood dump 🤣
