Thanks a lot! I appreciate that...and yes I do have an electronic journal. It's on the website I'm using. The good thing is I never have to input anything cause whenever I'm done with a notarization, the software automatically inputs everything for me.

Hi, I don't think I set up the easy link. I did it so long ago so I'm not sure. When it comes to bringing in my own clients, I don't use proof. I use OneNotary instead.

Absolutely! in the beginning I was anxious. But overtime I got used to it and so will you. To answer your question ...the leads come from one platform (proof). I sit all day (if I want) to wait for the calls to come it. I'm a contractor with the company so I work for myself. I work anytime I want and whenever I want. It's the same concept as Uber.

Hi Sheila, I didn't get in a notary group. I started during the pandemic and around that time they were actually training us before we got on the platform. Which state are you in?

When I first did it yes I chose the complete package but it's not necessary and for the notary the basic is good enough. Everything else is extra

I think you can do it with a resident card. I have a video called "how to become a notary in Florida" that talks about it briefly.

The test is open book and you have to go to the NNA website. Select the signing agent option to take the test.

The most popular one is Snapdocs. It's not a signing service per say but a lot of signing companies go there to find Notaries. If you're focusing on remote notary then the best platform right now is proof (depends on your state).

Hi, in Florida we charge per stamp. So it doesn't matter how many people sign the document. It just depends on how many stamps were added to the document. If you're traveling to the person make sure to charge a travel fee as well.

Thank you Amy! I appreciate that..and Congrats on receiving that commission. Before committing to RON you first have to do a little research to see which platforms are available to your state. Personally I'm using a platform called proof. It works out for me because I receive most of my clients through that platform. But depending on your state not everyone can do that. So do a little research on the platform that you're most interested in and definitely add your business on Google as well to start getting some clients.

There are too many to list...but just to name a few you can get leads on Google, Thumbtack, Signing company websites (there are 100s of them), and some remote notary websites.

I got a couple lol but my main ones are Edgy Vision and Edgy Views.
