The Abandoned Old Farm Staffordshire - Everything left behind - Just left to decay
This abandoned old farm in Staffordshire has just been left to rot and decay.
Everything just left behind. This was a low key explore and we kept back the footage has no one had been there properly yet. But sadly since then word has got out and the location has been vandalised and set on fire at some points. So we decided to release the pictures and footage to see how it was prior.

Wow. Think i went to school here. Think they had a fire last year. I always assumed it was open and kept in good condition. Was well looked after in the early 80s. Looks like the padiham one to me anyway.

Love these videos of abandon places, apart from going out looking for these places how would I find them?, i don't use computers much because I am not very P.C. literate, is thete a website or something that helps/tells you about places? I am on the outskirts of Warrington and St Helens so I would like to find somewhere close because I don't drive, and at the moment I have two broken knees, but I have a push bike once I can use it again. Any help in how to go about starting this up as a hobby will be very appreciated, Thanks.

Looking at local newspapers that may mention places, or Google maps and travel along roads etc. Start with obvious abandoned places, then you learn what to look for in places. To recognise non obvious places. 🙂

I have seen many an abandoned building by now, but i just cannot put into words the sadness of how it feels to see pieces from history left to disintegrate before ones very eyes. Thankfully you explorers are and have recorded some of the history that is of such great importance to some of us to see.

My Dad went to this school as a boarder in the’50s. He had a great time. He’s in his 80’s now. He told me that one year his role was stage director or something and he graffitied his name and school number many times with the stage paint under the stage. Wonder if it’s still there?

I’d forgotten how many pits there were in North Staffordshire. After I left the NCB I became an apprentice electrician and worked on installing cabling systems at Wolstanton, for the Bindex system on the coal pre plant in the valley, where eventually the A500 or ‘D’ road was built. Wolstanton colliery is now the site of a huge retail park.

Where I lived for the first 14 years of my life. Lived at 7 west street went to Weston coyney infants/middle school. Still walk my dog down the brook at the back then walk up west street & through the gully by the school. Although it's a lot different now west street still has many elements of what it used to be with many houses still the bricked up NBC houses & even one of the original painted (yellow I think) houses sitting at the bottom. It's just enough to get nostalgic about a time that has been forgotten but not by the huge amount of children who grew up here in the 70s & 80s. It was a great place to live with good community spirit & you were never short of something to do as kids. Great great days which are precious to me as my parents are no longer with us. Although perceived as a bit rough or not the best place to live I did live there & I will never forget the fantastic upbringing & childhood this estate provided me with. Mum & dad that's what coalville is to me.

I was christened in this church in 1959. I was born nearby in 1958, in Dennington Crescent. As a young child, I remember the area around the Mill Pond was completely wild and overgrown. It looked like a bomb-site with wrecked cars, old bonfire sites and craters. The Pond always had old bikes and prams in it, as well as a family of swans. Then the council cleared it all and laid red-ash paths. It became quite a pleasant area, although the local kids lost their adventure playground! I've been back a few times but I haven't lived there for more than 45 years. Thanks for this lovely souvenir!
