How I wish there were more people there on the day .....4 million anglers in the UK and only a few showed up ....we need more demos if we are ever going to get things changed .....clean water is essential to every aspect of life itself .....😢

Excellent and vital points and strong message.Always aware of this as an angler and riverside dweller since 1973.Myopic uncaring Men in corporate grey suits in offices shut away from their country and the natural environment and a former secretary of state for the Environment lacking any knowledge or interest in her brief...and an environment agency keen to prosecute anglers rather than effectively respond to pollution .

All these threats to riverlife and ecosystems..well theyarent threats they are happening now shoq how little understanding or care that water companies and government bodies Environment agency OFWAT and Dof E have little understanding care and empathy with our natural world.Corporate office based Britain at its worst. As a salmon and trout angler fishing Eden, Lune, Swale, Tyne Welsh Dee for the last 40 years I remain angry and appalled by the decline in water quality and the lazy indolence of both the water companies and the ineffectiveness and lack of care or interest from the Environment Agency and OFWAT Simon Artley

A most informed and very worrying piece.The message and the pictures show the outrageous practices by polluters and complete shameful indifference by the Environment Agency.The head of Environment agency should be dismissed.

If your serious about this march, I will tell you now, it won't make a bit of difference, if you are serious about this, you need to use your celeb status, and contacts in celeb world, and more importantly, get all the high flying Angling You Tubers, involved, why do you need me to tell you this , you should have already known this and be onto it, Time To Give Back Good People 😢
