Boris got the formula for inmersive (realistic?) sounds. He's done with the 737's and possibly the 757. Fingers crossed he can squeeze this formula and bring life to as many planes as possible.
Omg! He brought the PMDG 737 back to life with these sounds!! Now do the 777!! I heard he’s gonna do one for the Fenix as well which if that’s legit true, he will be the God of the sounds for airliners! Echo 19 is the God of sounds for military! He nailed the iFly 737 Max 8 sounds
Is Boris gonna make a sound pack for the PMDG 777 as well?
Outstanding.
sounds exactly the same lmao
As the PMDG default? I can assure you it doesn’t. I’m not a sound nerd at all, and there is a huge difference.
Sent here by Barry Seal Logistics.
Good ole, Barry…welcome to the channel!
WOW its almost as good as the I-Fly Max default sound pack
Makes sense given that Boris did the default iFly sounds
How to I get this
It will be released soon through ORBX
When’s the date
this is nuts i cant wait
You won’t have to wait long!
@@FullFlapSim any estimated release date for this thing>?
^ please tell us
I just got PMDG for MSFS and I absolutely love it.. Going to invest in these sounds. P.S have you seen the freeware F27 .. that thing is pretty dope.
I'll check it out!
As a sound geek, I always felt that the PMDG 737 was only 80% complete with their frankly crappy sounds and as a result I avoided flying it. This finally completes the package for me and makes it the perfect partner to go with the iFly MAX. Now I can Ryanair my heart out! lol. Thank you Boris. Stellar work once again.
I agree that once I’ve used these sounds I can never go back to the default!
Out of all of the senses, sound is the only one that can be nearly perfectly captured to reflect reality!
There is the sound i always wanted when you have landed and hear tha engine is spooling down, (NOT ONE SIGNLE SOUND PACK) so far have done that! Good job looking forward to use this for 737 <3
Agreed! So many little nuanced sounds have been captured…
@@FullFlapSim Yepp amazing work ! hope we see this sound pack very soon free or not i dont care <3
29:28, 1:20:08 this are the sounds I miss on the Fenix CFM. I will definitly buy this oack for the 737. Boris always does a wonderfull work
amazing sound, however I would like to know how much would this cost and 2 is there a way I can become a beta tester since I've seen a video somewhere saying its in beta or something
I don’t know if price has been finally determined, but the beta phase is mostly complete. The sounds as showcased here are the final beta build.
@FullFlapSim ooh sick I can't wait
Will this be on the marketplace or will it be on a custom website
The soundpack will be sold through ORBX exclusively
Great video!! What pushback program do you use?
This is the default PMDG included pushback with custom sounds by Boris
@@FullFlapSim ohhh ok. It just seemed like you were talking to them directly Thanks!
I love Boris Audiworks! Their sound packages always dramatically improve immersion….its amazing how a sound addon can change the whole sim experience….but it does! This is a day one purchase for me!
Completely agree!
Crazy how sound packs can make us this happy amazing work by Boris🙏🏾❤️
Couldn't agree more!
The one in the MAX are amazing, can’t imagine the one in the NG
As a member of SWA VA, take my money boris!!! This sounds absolutely incredible!! This guy is amazing!!
these sounds are beyond incredible, it really makes me feel like i’m in the real thing! thanks for sharing
100% agree. I think it’s the best 737NG soundpack ever done in flight simulator.
Where did you get those gsx pushback sounds ??
The pushback sounds are custom by Boris; part of the soundpack!
@@FullFlapSim sweet dammit this is full thrust ahead awesome sauce.
When is this coming out omg
No release date published…but soon
@ awesome. Thanks.
Finally...take my money lol. I've flown on the NG so many times this is absolutely realistic and the best i've heard i will be buying it. please Boris do the 777 next PMDG sounds suck which is terrible considering their asking price
Boris is going to be busy!
omgggg its sounds so good! take my money!
Available soon!
The only reason I go back to 2020 is to fly the 737 from PMDG. But now I'm definitely going back to 2020 once I get these sounds loaded to these planes. Absolutely stellar work.
Like I said on stream, I’m not a sound guy. I never buy soundpacks. But this one truly captures the ‘soul’ of the 737NG.
Level up flight model sucks, feels like cg is totally off. Terrible to flare too. Its since the first release. Also vnav is a bit weird and idle descent doesnt work very well even with wind inputs
Same thing happened to me always in flare: the yoke gets heavy and I can't flare properly. Since the beginning. Rarely I flare well, rarely It works as it's supposed to.
Unfortunately, it needs some work. I don’t know if the recent update changes anything, but for now the Level Up looks great, and I’ll fly it for screenshots, but it isn’t going to be our go-to study level 737 on the channel.
@@FullFlapSim Hi again, recent update does improve things a bit but there is still a pitch issue amongst other things.. I came back here to revise on rotation seems to be no dead band now, however the auto rotate tendency seems to be eliminated. In AP I noticed this in VNAV there seems to be a porpoising up and down hunting motion that is really annoying probably caused by the "overly effective elevator". If I recall correctly, I'm sure I read in the discord server that the 73 pilots who give input on the flight dynamics are away, which makes sense... But don't quote me on that. I think for now I'll still be flying the OG ZIBO.
Great stream - sorry I missed it live. Keep them round engine streams coming! PS - Loved the intro music. I had those old training videos too as a kid; P40, B17, P47, P38, etc. The Victory at Sea soundtrack is also really cool.
Thanks! No worries, it was a last minute thing. I hate doing these streams without more notice, but that’s about all I’m able to do right now. That music is a vibe. It just screams “Golden Era of Aviation” to me. Glad they make it available royalty free.
So roll feels right, I thought it felt too heavy coming from ZIBO so maybe ZIBo Is too light on roll?.. but yeah there are a good few issues with Level up which is very disappointing. If they can Iron a lot out I'd be happy to donate some to them. I think they know there are issues too, discord was on fire last night lol 😂.
I thought roll felt pretty good. The real 737 is pretty tight at cruise speeds, but at approach speeds takes a fair bit of yoke movement and is heavily damped. I was happy with roll. Overall Level Up have a good start here. If they stick with the project and provide some updates I think they’re on their way to a solid product!
@@FullFlapSim Cool!. Yeah Lets hope they do!. Thanks for the reply, dude.. Good to get feedback from those who fly the real thing :) ..
Magnífico 👏
Thank you!!
Seems like the weight, balance, and landing calculations were a little off don't ya think?
Agree. The Level Up has always flown as if the CG is out of whack. Unfortunately this update hasn’t changed that. I did edit the payload prior to descent to reference 737-900 vs -900ER max landing weight through the tablet, not sure if that messed with things. I’ll do a little bit more testing, but I’m fairly certain the pitch sensitivity and oscillations are flight model related and not W/B.
Excellent series of videos for beginner and experienced simmers. Nice to get a deeper dive into some of the systems as well as what the PM and PF responsibilities are since we are used to doing it all ourselves as single pilots of the 737. (add-on copilots not withstanding). Clear, concise, informative, methodical. Exactly what tutorial videos should be. Thanks!
Thanks for the great feedback! Please share with your flightsim community and help grow the channel!
Great series. Could you do a flight with an RNAV GPS Z approach like KRNO-KPSP RW 31L?
Absolutely. I plan on doing an RNAV tutorial in the future!
Watched them all and highly recommend the series to anyone new to the 737 or here for a refresher. Lots of little nuggets of information. The only thing that wasn't addressed is the noise abatement procedures. would love to see a video showing the FMS settings for climb out of KSNA for example. Thanks for the time you took to build these detailed yet easy to grasp tutorials -Kam
@@Kam_MD11 Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them! I’ll add NADP departures to the list for future tutorials! Thanks for the feedback. If you could share these with your flight sim community it would really help me out!
@ will do
Hey bro. Same. Uninstalled msfs and reinstalled xplane. Tired of the random msfs fugazziness
There’s room on my hard drive for both sims, but XP12 is definitely still a player, especially given MSFS issues
Great Landing 👍👍
Thanks!
great landing
Thanks!
Great video. I only watch a couple youtubers and they fly real life turboprops, since that what I used to fly along with a few Citations and Lear 45, but I have enjoyed the way you present yourself so I have decided to subscribe to your channel. Hope you are able to keep them coming, at least for awhile. Have a great day and God Bless.
Thanks for the sub! Glad you’re enjoying the content. Hope to get a Lear 35A stream out here soon, you’ll have to let me know if I get close to flying it right!
@@FullFlapSim you bet
Discord link in the channel description doesn’t seem to be working. Could be an error on my end though.
Give this one a shot! discord.gg/hNUFYaX5uP
What’s the name of the song, my wife wants to know for her yoga class of all things. Thanks and happy flying!
Which one? The beginning or the end?
I was number 174. I think if you hang on long enough you’ll have many thousands
Thank you for the sub! I’ve got a lot more content planned, so I appreciate your support!
Same throttle issue with me too.
Yeah, I think it’s an issue with the hardware I’ve got. But that is common hardware, so iFly should look at it
Wow!! What an awesome video! You’ve explained some items in the FMC and VNAV logic that I haven’t learned before!! You are very clear, smooth and speak in a way that I’m sure we all can understand!! Keep these videos coming!! I’m a subscriber for sure!! THANK YOU!!
Thanks for the kind words! I’m putting together a non-stream tutorial series that will hopefully help as well!
I think the speedbrakes didn't come out because you armed it with the bravo axis. I've had the same. Just arm it with the mouse in the virutal cockpit and leave the bravo leaver full forward. It should work then. I assume this happens because the speedbrakes are armed but in a "fixed axis" position due to the phyical leaver position. But it's wild guessing ;)
Interesting. I think you’re right, because on the streams where I used the mouse they worked. Even if that’s the case, I’d consider that a bug because PMDG allows you to arm the spoilers with an axis. Also, the spoilers should deploy with reverse thrust regardless of whether they’re armed or not.
Great channel…you have a radio voice man.
Thank you!
Nice video man. Will be subscribing so keep up the content💪🏾. You said "I don't know if its' present on the Max" so I'm guessing you don't fly the Max irl only NG but do you wanna fly it?
Thanks for the sub! That’s correct, I currently only fly the NG, but hope to fly the MAX someday.
Great channel. Appreciate the valuable 737 info. V1’s recommendation was spot on.
Thank you! Glad to have you here. Check out the discord if you get a chance. Looking forward to adding more content!
I subbed as well. Love the laid back format. so when is Sun Country coughing up the money to get a max/ LOL - just joking. Question for you: Unless I missed it I did not see you doing much with Reduction/Acceleration altitude settings and MFRA. Love to hear your thoughts on that stuff. Thanks - Kam Follow up - I did see you went heading select above 400 and VNAV above 1000' AGL to capture that 230kt speed restriction. So no intermediate bug up to Flaps Up speed.
We don’t bug MFRA, we just accelerate at either 1000’ or 3000’ AFE. 1000’ is default in our FMS and shows up as a white line on the altitude tape. 3000’ needs to be manually programmed. We do accelerate in VNAV, vice bugging the up speed (barring an engine failure). I’ll cover it more in depth in the next stream!
@ awesome thanks
Great content indeed! Thanks for showing the update
You bet! Happy to showcase the update. Will be flying the iFly more in the future!
i hope they fixed the autopilot that would go crazy on me and make the aircraft do a 360 mid flight for no reason
They appeared to do a lot of work on the auto flight system. It’s a lot better now than it was. I didn’t experience anything like you’re describing after the update, but admittedly I need to do more testing
@@FullFlapSim im glad to hear that they did alot of work on that
