Bad choice. Now the Character is hardly distinguishible from the BG. Also it looked more like a comic before. Now it looks like some average fanart from Deviantart

I don't usually comment on RUclips but I gotta say I hate the new artistic direction. Don't get me wrong, it looks good for sure, but it also looks liker every other game: it lost his personality. The old one, maybe it had a more flat color palette but it was so much better, more original and readable, and you could see the roots in persian art. Now? Doesn't stand out anymore, it just blends with every other game. I want the old style, even if its an option to change between the old one and this one, cause I get it, the new one was surely a lot of work too and again, its good, but the old was excellent. Please 😢

I do think this looks lovely and all the environments got a glow up, but whenever I see those types of updates, I do feel like a minimalist artists work got put to the wayside in order to make something more broadly appealing
