I started playing this first time last spring, played for maybe 5 hours total on too hard of difficulty and got fed up with controls and combat. picked up it again a month ago since i got more powerful computer and could enjoy good graphics, played for 200 hours almost straight haha. on xbox controller the game feels awesome and storytelling is epic quality. W1 an W2 is like 4 euros on steam at the moment so im thinking of picking them up and playing also after totally done with this, hearths of stone DLC was so good.

Ive had the game on my xbox and juat got past the first encounter with the wild hunt. Never played it again sadly. Decided to get it on my pc cause it was on sale for 10$ for the complete edition, plus my coworker talks nonstop about this game lol. So far im 12 hours in and it doesnt even feel like ive scratched the surface! Everytime i play it, time slips away, before i know it i gotta get to bed lol. Fantastic game and im glad i gave it another shot.

I've been playing it on Legion Go for last few weeks, but I use Loseless Scaling app to bump framerate from 30fps to 60fps - much better experience. It runs really well.

The only thing that makes it reach 7W is the fact that you are running it at 30fps. I suggest you to look for some ini configurations that would make the game look the same but run even better. This game is such and optimization mess, vegetation is so madly made it make the game drop from 120 fps to 40, so that's where if you setup a good ini file you'll get even better performance

Maybe next time, have the AI just make the landscape and then photoshop in the Steam Deck. Just a thought.

If you want more fps why not just use steam os or a distro of linux similar to it
