ABOD parade Liverpool 11th June 2011
The Apprentice Boys of Derry marched through Liverpool on 11th June 2011. All the bands and ABOD clubs are from Liverpool/Merseyside. Unfortunately I missed the Accordian band from Ulster that were leading the parade.

Just a snipet. Orangemen are proud of their British heritage. They are strongly for the Union of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Orange Lodges can be found in Ulster, Scotland, Liverpool and throughout the world. They have members of various races. They are all united by their common Protestantism.

The funeral of Lord Edward Carson who led the Ulster resistance to the Home Rule Bill from 1912. It's a pity we don't have anyone like him around now.

The partition of Ireland was a bittersweet moment for him he thought that because the north did not want to become one with the south it would make any agreement unworkable and therefore the british government would scrap any form independence for Ireland and retain the status quo so he did NOT die victorious.

@dratsab1980 You're talking bollocks. The war that you mention was not fought against Catholicism, it was part of a large European war against Louis of France. The Pope and King Billy were on the same side. Take off your anti-British tinted spectacles and you may realise that this undermines your argument.
