I've had this burger numerous times in the Glendale and Burbank locations and it is one of the most flavorful and juicy burgers I've eaten in my life. I visit Porto's every time I'm in the LA area just for the Cuban Burger and of course some bakery items too.

When I worked at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia at 5th Street and Lehigh Street, there was a Argentinian restaurant that made the meat and potato balls. They were quite a bit bigger than yours. From the ingredients given for yours the Argentinian balls must have shared a common recipe. Working 7pm to 7am I would pick up three potato balls for dinner, lunch and supper. I’m going to try your recipe. I suspect your recipe will being back many memories!
