Buffs with the Bloodhound Fang are definitively not broken at all , not at all... Some buffs were not available to me since i only did Radahn and Mohg (entered via Varres questline)! Buffs/Items used: White Mask and Blood talisman for more damage on bleed proc. Flame grant me Strength for more damage. Golden Vow on a dagger for more damage Dex and Poise break physick . Bloodhound finesse full combo does 44 stance damage and you did it twice and broke his stance??? He has 110 stance though how did you do that

@@TyrontasQuavos bloodhound fang can’t have its affinity changed so I’m thinking he had the stonebarb cracked tear that increases stance damage by 30%

...why go warp to a farther grace to run by a closer grace lmao, video could've been 2 minutes shorter just warping to Dragon Temple Rooftop edit: okay so you run by 2 sites of grace, I'm not sure why ur route involves running around half of the dungeon. For anyone else, warp to Beside the Great Bridge and go down the elevator behind you, out of the temple with the three beastmen, then start at 3:00 lol
Originally this was a video for a friend who asked where the boss was, he was by that grace i warped to and to make it simple for him I decided to start from that grace . This was 1 or 2 days after the release and we were all clueless at the time and this video was clearly not intended to be a guide or anything i just forgot to make it private lol.

It does ! But you need to have +1 curse to have it apply. Or if you have two curse on hit implicits from a double corrupt then temporal chains would apply first then despair and then the other curse, knocking off temp chains. So if you are picking up despair on hit asenaths be sure to only have despair as a on hit curse and make sure you have +1 curse limit ( i have it from the Whispers of Doom Annoint on my amulet) (www.poewiki.net/wiki/Curse)

Very nice, I’m running a very similar setup with diadem/lightning coil, and an otherwise pretty identical tree/gem setup. Might I suggest one thing though, running 2 of the medium proj cluster jewels with the follow through notable is a pretty big damage boost. It’s pretty much a reverse of the chain mastery you’ve got x2, which is something like 360% increased damage upfront (that’s with 13 projectiles)
I have since swapped to the clusters myself , its pretty insane damage!
Also , I have added a Perandus Pact right outside ranger start with 6% chaos damage per passive in radius , granting me 120% inc chaos damage! Pretty decent chunk of damage from 1 jewel! imgur.com/a/xyeZBl2
No way you need Perpetual flasks. You should run Flagellant's instead, which might even be enough multihit defense to drop grace.
No way i'm standing there tanking boss hits to gain the same amount of flask charges or even less than perpetual, perpetual also grants more on kill and allows me to run grace which is solid defense since im close to 100% phys taken as ele convert and 100% spell supp. This setup is overall better for the content im doing!
Could it be that the skill's flat added dmg actually scales from flask life recovery mods such as one on ur belt or those in skill tree nodes?
Sadly it doesn't work like that , assuming it has the same mechanics as normal poisonous concoction it only draws from the flask itself and not your actual life recovery from flask modifier! Would've made this skill incredibly strong though !

Make sure it’s the right one. It’s either that, or your game is somehow corrupt/bugged but that’s very unlikely. Or maybe you have to beat the boss in the area first? I did this boss after the main/mandatory boss of the area so I’m not sure, but try that.

So for melee focused players, strength build specifically what would be the most effective ways to deal damage to him without breaking that perma-shackle? Or can I just run up and poke him with my antspur rapier?

Maybe this is for people who have fought him normally plenty of times, got the grind and sweat in and still couldn't beat him. I think it's good that there are options. Me personally, I agree with you. The feeling of satisfaction when you beat him is that much greater.

Quick tip: use the rotten breath you get from a dragon altar. use it multiple times and wait until it runs out, refill your FP and then do it again and again. that way youll avoid him getting too much damage or being staggert
The boss kill could certainly go much faster for sure , but this video was made to time stuff related to speedrunning/challenge runs to figure out if its worth cheesing or not. Breath spells are kinda out of the way for the current routes in that regard, but would be for sure great to use here in a casual playthru.
