I bought this Incubus bootleg cd years ago around the time make yourself came out, always loved this acoustic concert they did. It's a shame they never did an official acoustic album because their songs translate really well to this format. Gear: Gibson J45 Fractal Fm3 (i recorded direct, no mics used).

Cooper Carter made an amazing Nirvana preset on the G66 channel, usually i don't jive with other peoples presets, but this one really nails the nevermind sound. Vou tentar! Ando há muito tempo à procura de um por bom preço, porventura um daqueles da Harley benton (não vale a pena investir inicialmente muito num). Mas sim, é uma ideia que mantenho, assim como continuar a fazer covers de outras canções do álbum ( já há muito tempo não posto nada em Português).

It was a preset that came with the fractal Fm3, it’s kinda ok…I’m not completely happy with it. But it gives a bit of flair to the track I guess.

Desconhecia completamente a música. Mas está porreirinha. Eu não fui o maior fã do nu metal, mas não consigo entender tantas críticas ao gênero. Gostando ou não, foi inovador. E quem é que disse que a música tinha que ser muito complexa para ser boa?
Sempre era melhor que a música que agora domina os tops e a rádio( e muitos festivais diga-se). É uma tristeza.
@@coversguitarra8448 sem dúvida nenhuma. A oferta hoje em dia é tão fraca que eu ando a ouvir bandas de post Grunge e nu metal que na altura delas praticamente ao ouvia. Fuel, POD, Buckcherry, etc...

Não, apenas um som limpo com reverb e compressão. O resto é apenas o som natural das oitavas que toco nessa parte.

Really like the tone David have for this song, the original was recorded in a way that was very hard to play live and replaced the synth strings and all with just the guitar.

Hello brother, what effects did you use for volume swells? thank you
It was a real Boss Ph2 with delay/reverb and a "cleanish" sound (a bit boosted, to add some girt to the swells). I did record two separate tracks for that intro swell, to my hears its what Mike did on the record. I wasn't super happy with the result, today i think i could have done better.
