    I remember being 17 reading through the kingdom come credit book and being shock that I made it didn’t have any sample info listed. I thought it was a typo . I also would try and look for it on the internet through the years. I swear it sounds like one of the early to mid 70s Philly soul joints.

      technically no as far as a what a "sample" actually is in legal terms. But from a writing / production standpoint he is referring to the word "sample" because from a beat standpoint he's using it the same way he would if he used an actual sample. But as far as the lawyers and business/ industry person's perspective goes no, it's not a sample.
