Beautiful channel full of amazing work 👏
Lovely model you've made here! Bravo!
The mechanisms that you create are absolutely stunning. Each one is a marvel to witness.
Very neat. Love it.
Superb!
This is… GORGEOUS! You are a great source of inspiration for all modellers alike. Did you use Phoenix Precision paints for the CR blue?
@@amazi6542 I didn't paint the loco, Warren Haywood did. I'm sure he will tell you which paint he used, but I believe he uses cellulose.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Fantastic......❤
Oh god! Hope you get more support!
Fabulous work, really makes me want to go deep with DCC sound.
❤
Very nice! The sound could definitely be improved upon, though.
Is Edward in real life 😊❤👍🚂🚃
トーマスのモデル機ですね。
This is the real Edward the Really Useful Blue Engine
Fantastic!
I likee, so good
This is very cool, I would like to do things like yours, I just don't have the materials :(, I love your videos, keep up the good work.
Can we have Thomas at home? Mom: we have Thomas at home. Thomas at home:
I am sorely tempted to get the Farish model, make a few tweaks, and paint it grimy rail blue, representing the parallel universe where BR just threw them into production instead of building lots of immediately obsolete steam locos and they stayed in service into the early 1980s
you can say that again (ten times) ;)
Which W class?
It's a North Eastern Railway W class.
@@nickdunhill7313 Looked up a photo of one, quite a monster of a thing. Props, good luck with the model :)
You can see pics of the finished model, and others, here: www.flickr.com/gp/144381574@N05/k5L04MVoF0
Nice track :)
What the f*** No Emily😢
Beautiful. What scale?
Thanks. O Gauge / 7 mm
Wonderful work Nick! Was there enough space to include inside motion?
Yes. I'll post a vid in a min.
Brilliant . A clear exposition of how to use this kit . Very interesting and informative and well and clearly photographed.
that is epic 🔥
Love it! Looking forward to seeing a layout and some serious trackwork 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃👍
what class is it
It's a GWR Broad Gauge Armstrong Convertible standard freight.
Wait no it's a broad gauge GWR 3501 class
@nickdunhill7313 thank you
Looks cool
Excellent as always Nick
Thanks
Any chance of a 'how to' video on crank axles?
Ok
Wonderful! As always! I´m waiting for the next masterpiece. Sincerely, Jan
Hi Nick, could you please explain how exactly you were able to put a working motor with the valve gear on a 4-4-0? I wish to know if such a system could be implement on a GWR 14XX, i can tell the motor maybe sits vertically on the firebox, but you can provide any further info or pictures, i'd be most grateful, thank you!
www.westernthunder.co.uk/threads/nick-dunhills-workbench-cr-0-4-4t-wrexham-tanks.8625/ Hi, have a look in the above Western Thunder thread. It explains all, no reason why you couldn't fit it in an auto tank.
@nickdunhill7313 Oh Nick! Thank you so much. This is incredibly interesting, replacing the big end on one side with the gear is a genius solution. I hope to make my start in O gauge in the near future, I just wanted to thank you for being so open about your techniques and knowledge! I hope to learn as much as I can do I can built kits of my own to this kind of standard someday. 🙇♂️
What Kit did you use to make this engine? is it avaliable anywhere?
I began life as a DMR Kit. The kit is quite poor so it's mainly made from scratch.
@@nickdunhill7313 DId you build everything yourself out of custom cut brass??
I did.
@@nickdunhill7313 That is incredible 😮
Look it is a emaily chassis!1!!1!11!1!!1!1 tho to be serious this is actually a good Chassis for a loco Bachman has made worst chassis then that.
Are these models custom made or are they a kit?
This one is made from custom etches. No decent kit.
What a beautiful model! You have done a fantastic job!! I’ve always wanted to se the Caledonian 439 available ready-to-run, and right now I think this is the closest we are going to get! Edit: I just looked at your channel and saw some of your other locos! Keep up the incredible work!!
The valve gear and cylinders are so beautiful, it almost seems a waste to have them be inside cylinders!
Amazing machinery!
Splendid job!
Beautiful! Is that valve gear from Laurie Griffin's?
Thanks, yes Laurie Griffin.
Is this live steam to??
No Electric motor.
No. O gauge fine scale
How do you make wheels?
slatersplastikard.com/wheels.php
Beautiful!!! Respect!
1\87 ?
1:43.5 UK O scale
Nicely done!
Looks beautiful! Which kit manufacturer is that from? I would like to try one myself!
Hi. It's made from some custom etches and lots of scratchbuilding. No kit available I'm afraid.
This is absolutely beautiful! Is the inside motion from Laurie Griffin, or did you scratch-build them yourself? Keep up the great work!
The inside motion is partly Laurie Griffin castings and partly scratchbuilt.
Reqlly like these engines, great quality builds. Do you use an airbrush or spray paint on the locos? Wondering as i have seen the finish on some of your others and quite like it.
I have them professionally painted by Warren Haywood.
