Wow man breathtaking I love my '79 Monza hatchback it's rowdy
Lovely bikes them, that's how they sound, 900 nearly the same even though it's a triple,
I am the new owner of this fantastic Monza. The car is now in dry Arizona where I keep it indoors in a climate controlled shop. Still all original. Replaced the heater core, put in new Bob Gumm motor mounts, and new electric fuel pump. This is my 4th 5.7 Monza I have acquired. This car is 100% rust free. I probably won’t find another 5.7 Monza in this great of condition.
Cool, got lots of attention since no one would believe a V8 would fit in there.
I am the current owner of this all original Monza 5.7. It is still all original. I’ve been collecting and building V8 Monza’s for over 30 years. This particular Monza is extremely rare. There are less than 50 original 5.7 Monza’s registered in the United States. GM only produced 3166 of the 5.7 Monza’s. Sadly most of them got hacked up to become drag cars or fell into the junkyards due to rust.
I bought one of these last week and I burned the motor up in less then two minuets. In harbor frieghts defense it was probably just a lemon because seems like most people have pretty good luck with these. They were cool about it and gave me my money back the day after I bought it. Ended up going with a dewalt. It was almost twice the price $154 with tax but this one feels like an actual industrial tool.
Thanks a million for making and sharing this, it's super helpful for what I need to do in my garden.
So welcome 😎
Dude.. your video is a breath of fresh air. Straight to the point. Demonstrating the tool in action. Thank you.
Thats so kind thank you!
Demolition Hammer are worth their weight in gold 🤟
you should take your dog with you.
They don't make thrm like that anymore
It was included in Independence Day, where Jasmine, Dylan, and Boomer had to seek shelter at the maintenance closet due to a firestorm destroying everything.
Hey thanks! A close up look would reveal the decay of neglect that is reflective of current LA leadership. You made a great point.
I was just wondering how to hook up a battery tender to my new Street Twin. This was just what I needed. Thanks!
I would love to have a rooster like that, I heard that orpington chickens are super sweet and friendly
They are very easy to take care of.
Rebar without grout? Hmmm.
the grout was intermittent.
@@toodle171 gotcha. I hope everything came out okay
I had a green 75’ Monza. It was my first car. Is she still available? And what does she cost?
It was sold years ago.

To me they don't make quality like that anymore.,
They don't make make great cars like that anymore
Had one in Mahogany Metallic with Cragar SS’s 13x5’s and 13x10’s, 4.3 Litre (262) V8, what a blast to drive.
Is this car still available?
No sorry.
Thank you for the video I'd love the cars from the 70s they were thought to me.
They look cool if you remove those bumpers and make a similar smaller, like those from the 60's. Because with those gigant bumpers pos 74 they all look ugly
I am confused about the end of the tunnel. I have been researching the original Angel Flight Railroad location, is the exit of that tunnel the same place Angels Flight used to be? I can't see the buildings in front because its night, but is that the Pan American Building on the left in the distance as you are coming out of he tunnel? and do you know if 2nd street was 3rd street prior to the redevelopment of Bunker hill
'Every time you try to forget who I am'
Obscure but interesting, is that a quote?
toodle171 it’s a song from The Weeknd, he shot one of his music videos for “Reminder” in the tunnel.
That dog is too old for that stuff
She was unique.
Love that GM shoved a 350 in such a small car. What is the exhaust set up, removed catalytic converter a turbo muffler?
The catalytic converter is not replaceable. It was bypassed via pipe going through it. Would not do that again... Thank you.
Needing her butthole inspected 😂😂😂
Trying to decide between the street twin vs speed twin. Have you tried the speed twin? Any issues with your motorcycle?
Not yet, this is the smoothest all around bike I have ever ridden. Make sure to set up test rides before buying new or used.
What’s at the other end of the canyon?
Your house
toodle171 No it isn’t. It goes over the mountains, yes?
@@helensarkisian7491 yes and the funny thing is my sisters house is "over the mountains" to such a degree I can drive up that road and eventually drive down to her house...
toodle171 No shit! I need to look that one up.
I need the carbon brush # from that tool...it’s under the gray Panel you will see a black plastic Circle will come off With a flat head screwdriver thanks
Harbor Freight carries them.
Thanks Great video.. Loved it
back to basics...excellent, thanks for sharing
Thank you!!!
Yes she's clean !! I myself had a 1977 Monza with a sbc 355 also and it had one purpose , , to eat 1980s 90s Mustangs . .
Thank you!
miss my 70,s cars shape, now everybodys driving bricks, also beware DUST DEVILS, Iv a vacuum cleaner with that name. graham
Well this was both informative and depressing. I wish I would have bought yours. Instead I got one thru amazon I'm not sure of the manufacturer, an off brand. Just watching you use yours I would estimate that mine weighs at the very least 3 times as much as yours and has maybe half the cutting power that yours does. I don't remember the exact price. I believe it was pretty dam close to $215.00 round there. So ya that's great. Hey listen Toodle . . .we go back right? Remember way back when, you were shot up pretty bad, I drug you back to my fox hole, patched you up, save your life? So can we trade jack hammers?
Without you I would never bowl again. So, if your anywhere near LA CA I will give you my demo hammer no charge.
You're very kind thank you for the sentiment. I finally removed the cinder block wall that was butted up next to this house in Lake Elsinore Calif. It was part of a side gate. with cement walkway surrounding it. I have never made this criticism of someones else's work but I am convinced it was way too well built. This wall for the gate latch was only one cinder block wide and had FOUR re bars in it. I got further with my pick ax then my jack hammer.
I had a look at one yesterday, it was a nice bike but was it ever mechanically noisy. Apparently its the "mark of the beast" but if i didnt know better i would have said it needed the valve clearances adjusted.
It was nice to ride and seeing this always brings back the very best memory's of my friend.
A lot of the mechanical noise derives from the fact that Triumph used square cut gearing where a lot of other manufacturers use helical cut. At a guess I would say this was because they didn't want to run the risk of mechanical failures early in their relaunch of the brand. Square cut gears don't create the lateral forces that helical cut gears do. One other thing, depending on the age/mileage, is the cam chain tensioner. The spring in the tensioner, installed at the factory, is considered to be a little understrength. If it has compressed beyond it's service length, replacing it is easy, just don't use a spring from Triumph. Get one from Sprint Manufacturing in the UK. If it's a 1200 4 cylinder, the balancer shafts might need adjusting. Another easy job for the home mechanic. Another possible source of excessive noise is the alternator drive. The cush drive rubbers could be perished, the nut securing the drive hub on the alternator itself can sometimes work loose, or - worst case - the alternator drive shaft bolt can snap. My 1994 1200 is clattery at tickover, but get it running and it's fine :).
Many thanks, your reply is very informative. Should i purchase one i will certainly keep your tips in mind.
Thank you for that fine information. It's always appreciated.

RIOT!
Wish their modern stuff was as simple to work on, as the first generation Hinckley Trumpets....
Ok, I will keep that in mind when I see one. ;)
That might have been lost on you, if the same slang isn't used over there.... Trumpets = Triumphs ;-)
No I didn't and that is funny! BTW I'm finding that albeit my antique car is "easy" to work on it's not as straight forward as my modern car and all of it's sensors which seem to be the only thing that goes wrong with it.
hi toddle
Hi Raymond!
What rain in LA .. that is what we have it almost every day :) Thumbs up and Greetings from Ireland! :)
:)
Hi Drone Girl! Yeah in So Cal when we get hit hard it's rather dangerous. Flash floods here are no joke. I can't wait to visit Ireland ;)
That impression is dead on brother. I grew up watching his shows and have been permanently changed by it. So many have no idea what a treasure he was/is. I'm starting my own channel soon and hope that even though my format will be different I can at least come up with a product worthy of his acceptance. Heull Howser. The father of youtubers.
