    LBJs arsenal of moves seem real nominal. They’re not as flashy or incredible as like a Kyrie X-over, hesi, blow past, reverse lay up…. Or even a Jamal Crawford X-over. However, I think it’s bc he doesn’t need to. His first step was so fast, and he gained so much ground from it that he rarely needed a counter move. His fast break spin move layup has become elite though

    “1 ON 1 doesn’t matter, not real basketball” - YALLS GOAT 😂😂😂 LBJ has a barely-bag. He doesn’t need one tho. He’s 6’9 260 45” vert. LBJ isn’t the greatest one on one player and that’s ok. Don’t have to be to be an ALLTIME great. He expresses his insecurities (subconsciously) immaturely at times.

    He adds and removes stuff every season I knew I wasn't just seeing things. His face-up game that first stint in Cleveland would keep defenses on their toes today, but he won't use it anymore. He could become a lot less predictable. That lower efficiency in his Cleveland days was a good thing. It meant he kept defenses guessing and didn't go to 'guaranteed' moves. The further you get in the playoffs that unpredictability is more winning basketball.

    • @Bunies-me
      @Bunies-me 7 дней назад

      His game was def more unpredictable in his younger days. A few have just attributed it to being more athletic & younger (which matter), but it was the flow he played with. He didn't just rely on brute strength and speed. He had a bounce to his game. He's def become more efficient (which is a big dope), but sometimes his attack seems less versatile. Seen a lot of situations where teams seem to know how to play him (especially at the end of games). Anyways, appreciate the discussion and tx for watching!

    Bruce Lee once said “It's not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential." LeBron is highly efficient and calculated so he works towards his strengths instead of supplementing flair and exciting moves. Even in the skills he’s arguably top 3 of all time in such as passing, he’s rarely as flashy as someone like Luka

    • @Bunies-me
      @Bunies-me 8 дней назад

      Never heard that quote before, but it seems applicable. Lebron is def very efficient No argument. At certain points throughout the game, executing certain moves (fundamental/non-flashy) could get him easier shots. Appreciate your feedback and thx for watching!

    Of course he’s 39 lol, it take explosivity, agility, quick change of directions and STAMINA to do some of these moves, so Lebron isn’t in his prime anymore and that since 2021 and his ankle injury, he lost a lot of athleticism especially in the categories i mentioned so he isn’t nearly as ball dominant, he can’t drive to the rim and collapse the defense almost every possession like SGA, Ja or ANT, or like him when he was younger, he’s not nearly as good as a defender even if he can still be elite when he want and even tough he is still the 2nd best finisher only after Giannis in term of volume and efficiency, he isn’t as good as he was in his prime, in Miami he shot over 80% at the rim in 2014 if i remember well, and this was before the Curry 3pts and spacing revolution so if you drop that version of him in todays league he would shoot 90%, even in the Olympic at 39 he lead the tournament in Fg% at the rim by shooting over 80%, better than Giannis … So now he has a way better touch, moves (Like a spin move to a push shot, reverse jelly lay up, 360 lay up ect), IQ and also footwork especially in the post, last season he was the 2nd best post player (including passes) after Jokic, so because of that (Annd the fact that the floor is more open now with better spacing) he’s still close to what he was in his prime as a finisher in term of efficiency, but he doesn’t have the stamina to put pressure on the defense and drive to the rim every possession… But he became a better shooter and more versatile passer, and his IQ, communication, positioning ect on defense is still very valuable so he’s still like 80 to 90% of what he was in his prime imo. And i think you’re completely wrong about him not using the jab step, pull up jumper, the in and out or cross over, he just rely on it less than before, now like i said he play more off ball, he shot 47% on catch and shoot 3’s last season and he’s been over 41% in the last 10 years, so less pull up more catch and shoot, and he’s also an elite cutter with amazing feel for the game, and now he play like a big, screening and rolling to the rim or pick and pop like Jokic or Giannis, and when he’s on ball, because he doesn’t have the quick explosive first step like he had in his prime, he can’t just dribble past elite defenders except if he give everything like he did vs Memphis in 2023 Playoffs for exemple (3 clutch drive and lay up over JJJ 2x and Dillion Brooks), but it take a lot of energy that’s why he doesn’t drive as much, stamina is some of the thing you lose the most as you get older, so Lebron is still very fast, but not as explosive he need momentum now so he’ll do most of his damage in transition, and i’ve seen him using some combo tween tween hezi cross over to a reverse jelly lay up (He cooked Zion like that a few years ago), and this was one of the best move he made in his career Lebron never had flashy handles, but now he’s an elite post player, he use his pivot foot, step trough, hop step and pump fake or head fake more than ever, and like i said he’s way more creative as a finisher, he had like 2-3 360 lay up last season … So yeah he’s worse, but he’s more skilled than ever, y’all are so easily blinded by what look good or smooth that you forget the stats and impact, Lebron is a better shooter, passer, post player his footwork are better and even his handles, the only difference is that he doesn’t look as fluid because he’s damn near 40 and built like a tank he shouldn’t even be supposed to move like that in the first place !

    • @Bunies-me
      @Bunies-me 8 дней назад

      You make a lot of good points. That said, executing certain moves/combos doesn't require much athleticism and explosiveness. Just need good pace and footwork (which Lebron has). He rarely does 1 -2 dribble pull-ups from the midrange. Implementing that back into his arsenal would make him that much more deadly. Especially in situations where he has to ISO and the paint is clogged.... It's no different than the sidestep he routinely goes to from the left wing. That's a simple [super effective] move he's added to his arsenal, and he almost always gets a good shot with it. It's not that he "never" uses the jab step, pull up, or in-&-out dribble...It's just super rare. There have been a few situations where some of those simple combos could have come in handy. All that said, Lebron is no doubt improved as a shooter, especially from the 3. Only thing left for him is to do shot 80% from the line LOL. Tx for watching and giving this feedback. Tx

  • @konkaiwa515
    @konkaiwa515 9 дней назад

    I think a lot of his bag relied upon his speed and a high rise on his jumpshot. as he begins to lose some of that explosiveness it seems his game has become more grounded with a jumpshot with much less elevation and a game based on scoring in only 3 different areas: transition, from 3pt, and in mid post post ups

      Lets just say that Nuggets starting line up had the most minutes played by a mile and they had no reliable bench players. In the playoffs everyone was battling some injuries, lack of depth was just a nail to the coffin. Nikola Jokic was by far the best player, even against the best defenders in the league he was averaging crazy numbers with high efficiency, and he showed his brilliance in that game against Wolves where he single handedly dismantled them and he was alone responsible for 70+ points. Nuggets organization started to fail, whole season was sold and load management was terrible, from a title to a title run they didn't stop and they didn't have a gas for a whole run. Calvin Booth started well but in this season he failed to make meaningful changes to help the team stay on their feet, if they don't do something bold, Nuggets will have no chance to win a title next year.

    how many nba players won nba mvp consecutively for years without any all star teammate? i wanna know cuz without jokic nuggets are done

      Nuggets def wouldn't function the same w/out Joker. He's the best in the world and they run practically everything through him. That said, this season, Jamal Murray was basically 21ppg, 7 apg, 4rpg w/ 48 | 43 | 85 shooting splits. During the chip run, he was basically 26, 7, 6 with 47 | 40 | 93 shooing splits. That's high level all star production at worst. West is stacked, and it's only so many spots. Appreciate the comment and thx for watching!!

      yes I hope so Jamal ,mpj,gordon,jokic make the best out of their prime and their bench isnt that bad but not consistent in these upcoming years They can be a legit threat if They solve their 3% shooting Wolves took the opportunity

      @@ngdarkboy7698 what bench they had only Braun who is not a scorer, two vets on a minimum deals, they wouldn't even be in the NBA if Nuggets didn't pick them, they can't afford anyone else because of their cap space.

    i not from america but to me ya mvp issue would be alot easier sorted if u take the best 3 players per team each game so you has the most points assists blks stls and all that and award them 1-3 points 3rd gets 1 2nd gets 2 and 1st gets 3 do that every game and at the end of season you will have the most consistent play all year who has been playing the best but also who supports there team the best witch in my eyes would show the actual best player in the league losing teams dont get same points only top 2 players would get points 1-2

      good video, but i think luka doncic should’ve won, or sga cause he is the only good one on the thunder besides chet holmgren, and sga carried his team to number 1 seed on basically his own
