    Any changes to the instructions for progressive lens wearers?

      Thanks for the question kellyfj. These exercises are more difficult to do while you’re wearing progressive lenses as the lenses will further distort the images. I would suggest wearing a single vision lens while doing these exercises if possible.

      @@rebalancephysiotherapy Thanks - I don't own such a pair unfortunately and I am very short-sighted. I have seen other recommendations to do the VOR training without glasses but the image is somewhat fuzzy. What do you think? How critical is it to have a very strong and clear border on the red ball (for example)?

    When I was in p t my therapist made me hold the handles up and down. All the videos on RUclips show the way you are doing it so why was I made to hold the handles up and down instead of the way the videos show

      Hi Erin, Your physio was probably trying to modify the exercise so it was more specific to your needs. 99% of the time we show the exercises this way, but sometime we modify them for our patients needs. I would guess that this is what your PT was doing!

    How tight should it be?

      Hi Philip, the laces should be tightened firmly. Just enough that you can just get two fingers in behind the tongue of the shoe! Make sure it’s not too tight otherwise you could cause a tenosynovitis of the toe extensor tendons in the foot.

      @@rebalancephysiotherapy alright thank you ive been suffering from chronic shin splints for almost 3 yrs now and i dont know the cause. Ive done just about everything and ill try this method out... I can get rid of the pain via dynamic cupping but i cant prevent it from happening

      @@rebalancephysiotherapy yes i have tried all of those to no avail. I have low arches, i have been to a shoe store did gait analysis and they only recommended neutral running shoes. I do notice that my shins flare up up when my feet start tightening up after a run i don't know if that is the cause.but my shins are only sore like hrs after a run i dont feel anything during a run. And its even more tender after waking up. I know its not a stress fracture since ive had it before

    Hey doctor can u pls help me . The ring finger in my left hand is twiching for 2days but I have noticed somethings . It also twiches when I touch my thumb with index and middle finger.and when I touch the right side edge of my elbow it also twiches.These are the things I have noticed till now.Can u pls tell me how wto get rid of it although the twitching is very little and painless it is a bit annoying and conserning for me

      Hi Payton, a train it I unity to a nerve can result in scar tissue, adhesions or swelling around the nerve. This can lead to a restriction in the nerves glide as joints in the limb flex and extend. The nerve glide can help release the nerve from any of these restrictions. Hope it helps.

    This bending of the elbow stretch is actually worse to unlar nerve compression. The more you bend, the more the unlar nerve will be compressed at the elbow and the wrist. Please don't mislead patients with umlar nerve problems

      Hi Leong, Thank you for your comment. As you can see from the title of the video is 'Ulnar Nerve Stretch". We are demonstrating how to stretch your ulnar nerve. We have not mentioned when to use it or with what conditions. Please don't mislead our viewers with your comments. Also some nerve compressions do require a neural stretch to alleviate the condition.       Hi Zahra, we always recommend getting assessed by a physio first and starting with our lower level classes if you have an injury. Try our level 1 and if you have any issues see your healthcare provider.

    It's can't stop shin splints, just rest your legs don't abuse.

      Thanks for your comment Arnold. However a correct running plan, strengthening program and correct foot ware used properly can prevent shin splints. Rest is the fix, when you have shin splints.
