Wing chun never works in real life situation.. Don't be fooled and waste your time and years of life.. muay thai, muay boron are very deadly. You can actually handle yourself once you learn them. You'll just generally be a confident person knowing that you can pretty much handle most people.. so learn only that

I've been doing wing chun for 2 years and this is completely true. But I'm not saying wing chun is bad, some elements of wing chun can be used in the real world, but in a street fight you are getting crushed. So that's why wing chun is best when implemented into martial arts because the wing chun style can't adapt to street fights unless implemented or changed by a practitioner to adapt to the real world which can prove effective. So traditional wing chun would only be effective if you fought someone with no fighting history but if you fought someone with basic boxing your most likely getting knocked out.

Wt is very dangerous from close distance but a boxer, muay thai fighter, bjj/mma fighter will stay further and a thaiboxer will kick his legs and body to death!! A bjj fighter/mma fighter the same and when they come close they’ll shoot to the legs or go for the clinch followed with the takedown. Conclusion: i don’t believe in wing tsung!! Muay thai is very effective martial art

Wing chun should be used on close range, it requires to provoke the next opponent movement, then counter that movement and make damage. As soon as opponent moved to middle/long range, kung fu guy should've switched his technique to something like sanda, cause if you can't provoke opponent for close range attack or shorten the distance quickly - you just standing there like a punching bag waiting to be knocked out

He is not doing the best muaythai and the wingchun guy also not doing the best wingchun, but in the ring we can see what is the most effective one. I don't say wingchun is bad but perhaps is not a great place (on fighting ring) to demonstrate the martial arts to its peak of effectiveness
