This sounds like Hiroyuki Sawano's work. Anyway, Hoyo-mix team does get "inspired" from him for a few times already.

If you hear enough Hiroyuki Sawano you will know that he has a very unique style of bass. In this track the melody is not similar to hiroyuki sawano but the bass is indeed similar. For an example, you can hear a track called Eighth-Six of Hiroyuki Sawano.
Besides, Rubia's melody is just straight up come from Chrismast Scene of Hiroyuki Sawano.

I read an explanation somewhere saying that IRAS 17514 is the only star observed in the history of mankind that revives itself into a red giant after death. And there's a saying that goes "whoever you are, wherever you go, there's always a star shining for you". This marks the symbolism of how only once can someone be revived - the miracle made by a mad man

It didnt really "revive", it more or less keeps its nebula shell around the white dwarf, which will become a new star. It is dead but it gave life to a new version of itself pretty much, which i think fits the song more and is more scientifically correct

Mihoyo was inspired by a nebula with a code name: IRAS 17514 according to what Otto achieved to create a new world that was very beautiful like cosmic, stars, nebula

IRAS 17514 refers to the central star of the planetary nebula hubi1. When a small mass star dies, it will develop into a red giant, and the shell of the red giant will be separated by high-speed diffusion, eventually forming a white dwarf and its planetary nebula. Under normal circumstances, planetary nebula will dissipate quickly, leaving only white dwarfs. But in IRAS 17514, planetary nebula are miraculously converging and reborn towards white dwarfs.

I have this theme connected with all the imagery and symbolism from the short and wow, it's really well woven. If only I could understand the words more without the lyrics. The singer is great, but I only caught "branch" without the lyrics. Just my nitpick, but a great song overall!
