I moved in Saint Joseph because of this video. I brought the kids with me and drove from California to Saint Joseph.

and they use the old missouri theatre maybe 3 times a year wished they would show movies on saturdays the good old fashioned ones

only brick streets left in town i believe is the hall street district

i love my hometown but it aint what it used to be parades are small no more trails west 2019 was the last year

the first pony express rider was billy richardson not johnny frye billy was a full grown man to the standards of men back then he was 18

i was in 2 movies aboit st joe they were filmed in a wild west town soith west of atchison ks easton ks they were the days of the pony express and nw missoiri and the days of the civil war

At joe is a cool place! definitely a lot of history there, but in a lot of places it’s really sketchy.😂 it’s just like any other city you have your good side of town and bad side. One place to check out during the holidays is Krug park its cool place to drive threw and see all the Christmas lights.

i lived in st joe until i was 15 ,im trying to remember when they, demolished the roubidoux hotel by blasting it .i also remember the park across from the pony express because i was one of those little bastards the ran up behind the trolly car and jerked the electric cable down . i remember working at jakes drug store i think it was on 11th st. i have a lot of memorys in st joe so in a week or so imcoming from st louis to ride my new motorcycle around town to see if i can find some of those old memories after 50years.

I loved this show!!! Yay!!!!

We are going to drop into St Josephs on our travels. It seems some of ancestors went there from Ireland in the 1870s. I found that they lived on Faraon Street (will have to find the number). The Father Thomas Winston owned a Saloon. Three of the daughters never married and lived in the house until they died. They were teachers. Looking forward to checking it out and maybe putting some flowers on their graves. If we find them.
