Vikram Rai: Why a centre like WELL Labs is needed
Do more like fhis please
Karma is a boomerang
Dr.Jayalalitha ji had made it compulsory that all houses above 1200sqft plot in cities and towns in tamilnadu have to dig a 5 ft x 5ft x 5ft Recharge pit and all the outlet pipes of terraces in these houses should send the rain water to this recharge pit which has helped recharge tamilnadu cities ground water. All houses those days had wells and not borewells. Bengaluru people should start digging wells in their houses.she made people dig recharge pits and connect their terrace outlets to this pit and made it a success with a clause that if recharge pit is not dug and approved by corporation office then cauvery drinking water connection in that house will be disconnected.
nice
It's incredible...
Great
Very nice project super
Hi wonderful presentation which is the tool you used to develop this animation and slides and presentation
Interesting choice of unit of measurement of water.... How much exactly is an OLYMPIC SIZE SWIMMING POOL??
Superb content 👏🏼👏🏼
god bless u....u r nation builders
Truly wonderful work ! ☺🙏
create waste in to wealth, thats the main solution
Good luck bengaluru, sab pareh-likhe gadhe rahte hai.
I think banglore is overcrowded and Companies should move to other Teir 2 cities all over India. Since Nowadays WFH Model is going on, they can open many branches in smaller cities solving many problems of Bengaluru
The Problem is govt wants IT employees to remain in the city even if the work is from home so that city economy remains good…if they move out city will lose rent and their market share
Decongest Bangalore city by shifting political establishment, Judiciary to Hampi and cinema Industry to Mysore
@@ConanTheKeyboardWarrior Government should stop people migration to Banglore.
its sad to seee that most percentage of used water are let out without reusing or treatment
Greywater Recycling
Mekedatu dam is the only permanent solution.
CRUPPT OFFICIALS, building high rise buildings, tkae BRIBES , BRIBES BRIBES but no water censors, NOW KARMA, KARMA HAS COME SUFFER CORRUPT PEOPLE
How about they stop filling up those lakes and create satellite cities...
Interlinking of rivers is the best solutionganga, pennar, ganga
Please let me know your contact details as i want to consult about filtration of rain water, best regards
Now I know what Bengaluru is lacking... More OLYMPIC SIZED SWIMMING POOLS
Government has already planned this idea its called Vrishabhavathi lift irrigation project. This is a good initiative.
at what pace!?
Unfortunately the time line they have is 3yrs @@vaishnavivaish3294
govt will only plan
Increase rainwater harvesting and borewell recharging ☔️💦
If we now tap on waste water for human/business consumption that currently flows back in lakes/rivers; wouldn’t that in coming years make situation worse because of even more scarce recharge of the ground water? Lack of management hence lack of planning. Permaculture guidelines are extensive enough to aid in planning of city that works in harmony with nature and not against it. But to begin with; no amount of planning can balance infinite human population growth on a known limited natural resources system. So priority for Indian government to mandate 1-child policy.
Simple bengaluru is disaster city , never seen more corrupt city in world
agreed. waiting when will people realize and move out of the city
Not a disaster city , but made disaster city like North Indian people like you .
Highly overpopulated city not enough resources for everyone
Yes please go back to your state 🙏
Only solution seems to be to build well planned satellite townships that have good roads, well connected metro & top facilties. Should be towards Mangalore so that access can be from both cities Airport & railway stations. Township should be similar to what Hiranandani did in Powai , Mumbai. This builder transformed Powai into a top residential & office area . Such townships will decrease the load on B'lore + at some point the two cities can connect .
Rain water harvesting should be taken up seriously from now on. Like national highways, we need to think about linking our rivers too.
We need to revive most of the lakes that can be revived and use treated water to fill these lakes which will replenish water in the borewells of surrounding areas and also implement rain water harvesting strictly
If Bengaluru billionaires follow in the footsteps of Mr.Nandan Nilekani Mr.Nikhil Kamath and sign warren buffet’s Giving Pledge and give 50% of wealth to charity, especially to climate action , then Bengaluru can move towards carbon neutral by 2030 and net zero by 2050.How many of them will do it is a Billion Dollar Question ?
Very well made. Probably THE most important topic that the entire city including the system and all the citizens should be aware of and get into action.
Stop using chemical in home... and develop lakes.. reuse it
How are you going to clean your bathroom and toilets then?
Bellandur lake with froth needs to be treated
🎉fantastic illustrations, short titles and explanations! Very thought provoking for rainwater harvesting, reuse and more efforts to treat wastewater for reuse!
Wonderful breakdown by Well Labs, Krea University. Expanding these studies to other major Indian cities could provide valuable insights into addressing the challenges posed by rapid urbanization and climate change.
Superb concept I hope our politicians sees this and analyse the reports and get an idea how to save this water crisis happening in Bangalore
they don't care
Superb 👍
The issue with most policy think tanks is their reluctance to challenge structural problems, especially the corporate-controlled democracy and third sector, while insisting on involving all stakeholders. The policy is about more than just polishing; it requires critical thinking and collecting empirical evidence, which the modern day policy think thanks have no courage. Any way, good luck.
Great initiative and need of the hour to solve the real problems of this Planet
Great idea and great work, all the very best
