To me the first one just comes off as a verbal comma tbh, because you're listing these facts about yourself. Definitely agree that it's beneficial to state your complete thoughts in a declarative nature, but I don't think it necessarily sounds like a lack of confidence when having an upturned inflection in between these thoughts as long as you are *connecting* them smoothly.

You can sound confident either way. Depends on your clarity of thought.

From watching interrogation breakdowns and Street Epistemology content, I have found that silence is an effective utility for an interrogator, interviewer or street epistemologist, depending on environment (interrogations have more control of environment than street epistemology settings). I've heard that questions direct the focus of the discussion and usually the person asking the questions has more control of the exchange than the interlocutor divulging information. Sometimes the only advantage talking can provide is an ego boost which may fail to compensate for the subsequent flow of data. On the other hand, chaffing (dribbling about non-pertinant information) can be an effective technique to impead effectiveness of intelligence gathering techniques from the receiving end.
