Really, really shouldn't be using a flat strap for the jerking yanks... that shock load is what breaks stuff.... Cracks frames, & bends chassis.... need to get a Kinetic rope with stretch like a Yankum etc... (don't buy the cheap chinese Rino stuff...or amazon specials... it's a tool, get quality. Besides, the Kinetic ropes bungee effect actually gives MORE pulling force using kinetics than just the mass of the pulling truck itself... but it's a softer shock load & doesn't wreck your truck

Who has the largest off road wrecker has turned into a pissing contest ! Yes this semi tractor is big, it had to be so it could do the job it was built for. It was not designed to be an off road wrecker. It is a highway truck ! Just putting a heavy wrecker lift unit on the back does not make it a good off road rig. Actually the dual rear axles with dual wheels is a bad idea for off road ! If you are going to make videos, you should have a recording device that has wind protection for the audio recorder. Flipping the scenes back and forth is an indicator of the operator not knowing what to focus on so they are wasting time with this tactic.

Nice truck🤙 I got stuck in a thick patch of sand a few years ago in Mohave County, AZ driving out to my parcel. It crossed the road, there are three in a 5 mile stretch. Nobody around for miles. Good thing some jerk had dumped a bunch of household items out close by, I stuffed items under my tires after digging a little and slowly worked my way out, had to. Thick sand is gnarly, don't spin yourself deeper!

for stability, should have hooked the snatchblock down on the lift where the cable is hooked and ran the line that way,no highpoint side pull.

A correctly sized kinetic rope would make a big difference. You will be able to take a running start in the RAM and not jerk the truck in the sand.

Flat staps are good for holding things in place, but when it comes to yanking on stuff, they suck big time and are dangerous. You need to get what are called yankum ropes (kinetic recovery rope) because they have the ability to stretch and smooth out the shock load rather than break what they are attacked to or breaking themselves and whipping around and maybe hurting someone.

4 people would also raise that small vehicle!
