She said she is a high school teacher watch the whole content before asking questions I say with a high respect 🙏 🫡
I liked and subscribed first time I love your channel content ❤❤
THANK YOU
I was also screwed over. If RUclips was not going to censor me, this comment would be littered with all manner of invectives. Body parts referencing - type of insults 😡😡😡. Buying clothes from overseas is an unmitigated disaster. Still cannot bring myself to wear the clothes, 8 months later.
You have already payed for them. Might as well put them to good use
So sorry sana, next time inbox me I live in Europe. I can buy something for you.🥰
Wow thank you
Thank you for the video, I am done with buying clothes at our shops in Johannesburg. I have decided to make my own clothes. A new hobby which I took on, so I am retired so I decided to invest in buying sewing machines. Before that is many years ago, we have the clothes in our local shops today, the Chinese have messed up, with their cheap useless clothes. You buy something now, with the cheapest materials. A few months down the line, it is no more. That forced me to start learning how to sew. You can learn anything on U-tube. There new possibilities. I have retired, but I am learning something new.
Lovely to here from you. My mom is also retired and she makes most of her clothes too. I had the pleasure of watching her make a dress from scratch just this past weekend.
Big ups to you mama! I love that❤
The size thing for me is crazy lol 😂😂😂i use to wear 28 now for something to fit nice and comfortable, i have to get 32-34 depending on the material and design, custlms have changed my view of buying from all these shops, theres things im liking on Temu and Shein mara ayi, might as well go to Small street nje
I still look at the size 28 clothes at the shop. So unreal theumy look so small now
R12000 is around $650 not $6500. customs is crazy business these days. I normally buy electronics and lights, they used to deliver (buffalo) to my place and no customs charges. Now everything goes via post office which makes things very slow to be delivered. even if i buy something less than R25 I have to pay minimum customs R38 which is a rip off. We dont have a choice as the government is screwing us so we dont buy outside thou some of the things are not here locally. if I buy something for around R500 I have to part ways with almost R200 customs tax.
I find the whole process to be just too much. The costs are too high. Yet there are things that are just not sold in SA
Hayi ibiyi shopping spree sana! This is what I always say kwaba bantu that buy ko Shein for thousands and thousands and then have to spend thousands on shipping, why not buy good quality clothes locally. But I guess the enjoy the large quantities of clothes/accessories that Shein provides.
I almost dropped from shopping 🤣. I am also convinced it's better to have fewer items than are of good quality
The mathematics subject I always think it's mainly the attitude of the learner and sometimes we have bad math teachers. But also parents need to be very involved in their childrens education journey. I would always recommend Mathematics though not saying maths lit or Tech maths is inferior.
I love your content so much, do you have an email address where I can contact you. I want to collaborate with you on personal finance and financial responsibility.

I enjoy your transparency. Interested to know, how do your colleagues react to your content? A lot of people still believe in secrecy when it comes to finances.
Lol they only know my Maths lit channel. I didn't tell anyone about this one.
You had me at tiny house 🤩 Sadly for me, I have kids now. But tiny homes have always had my heart. ❤

The problem start when private companies start recycling graduates so that they can pay them with SETA money instead of company money, hance after that 2 years we cant get a job
The problem is lack of proper monitoring from the government. No solution is perfect. We can't fault businesses for taking advantage of a corrupt system, after all their bottom line is profit. Our elected officials along with state employees need to do better.
I noticed that many internships are mostly funded by SETA hence at end of the contract there's no absorption into their workforce.
I really agree with all the points but the last one I totally align with. I've been planning to get a PhD for a while now solely just because I enjoy learning, I don't plan on getting a job in the same field because the job opportunities are so low so it makes sense to just study what I like and get a job somewhere realistic. Subscribed.
If you ever decide to do the PhD enjoy every moment of it. Looking forward to calling you Dr.
Curious, what school did YOU dream of going to when you were a child?
Honestly I don't remember the name but it is in Pietermaritzburg. I think it's because of seeing their ads on newspapers all the time. I kind of have a learning barrier and they pride themselves in focusing on individual learning
@ why do I feel like its Wykeham Collegiate. I grew up in Cape Town but I would also see that school in some popular magazines as a child...
You’re so funny and right. 😅
🤣🤣🤣

Hello am new here.❤
Hey ❤️
If you are a teacher, then I am very confident in the future of the children that you teach. I say this because it has been my experience that teachers present themselves as competently as you do. Cheers to you.
Thank you. I teach high school learners.
Nice to meet you lam failing to save some times I feel that lam cursed or bewitched I don't know why,
It is normal to feel overwhelmed or defeated. The trick is to start small. I started saving R20 to use it towards the end of the month.

I am a teacher working in South Korea, planning on coming back to teach in South Africa next year. You inspire me soo much! So glad I found your channel.

@ It is very awesome, more awesome for those without kids. I have reached my goals that I came here for, now I am ready to live in SA . Your videos make me see that it’s possible to save on a teacher’s salary❤️.
I studied mechanical engineering, graduated in 2019. Got a job out of the gate. Then COVID-19 hit, got retrenched before my career even started. Been unemployed since. This year I took a decision to study PGCE, looking forward to doing it. Next year I'm thinking of going for BEd honours while I'm looking for a job. My passion is still engineering but I've lost hope, but my heart is still in it. But we move😊
I sometime miss the construction industry but I am happy here. Indeed we move.
@LETSsaveONaTEACHERSsalary on Thursday I'll be writing my last exam😁
Hopefully your exams went well. Time for some well deserved rest
@@LETSsaveONaTEACHERSsalary I'm hope I maintain my 75+ average mark and graduate with cum laude 😁

I think the Yaris Cross is sold as Rav4 here in South Africa (i might be wrong). Please search Rav4 2024 model, they look alike
I didn't think about that. I will look thank you
I watched one video of yours and I got hooked to your videos. I’m trying to do the baby steps now. I think it’s a hard conversation to have with other people because sometimes it’s seems like you are coming from a point of show off and I have heard people say to me “we have real problems we can’t even think of an emergency savings now”. Keep doing these videos ❤
We are in this together now🤸♀🤸♀ health and wealth. I agreee talking to people about this topic can be seen as bragging, I learned that the hard way.
True inspiration 🫡. I used the baby steps to pay off R304k consumer debt 🎉
Please keep us informed on how you will be saving for retirement on the app. I would like to start doing something similar.
I will. I am still trying to learn what's going on for now but I will
Thank you for being an inspiration ❤
According to the baby steps by david Ramsey you not broke at all 😅😅😅😅
