@@uchgamerx Lets say you are sitting in the corner the whole time and when you get the rock miss or go for a bad shot and your team is also down. It contributes to your attributes lowering or your green window decreasing size, also some animations for example like going for a rebound your character do weird animations. Another player could be weak and push you around like you got no strength or badges that negate that. Badges decrease tier n attributes go down even tho you are not cold. Dont know if this makes sense but it like 2k16 where badges drop tier

I get it. You have a point. Catching animations do matter a lot in terms of shooting. For the strength part, I have yet to experience that because all my builds have decent strength

All of you had pretty poor iq including you terrrible spacing, no movement and can’t hit open shots . Set off ball screens not just when someone has the ball so there’s not guys standing around bricking wide open shots. You had the middy open a lot of times take what the defense gives you don’t try to force a dunk or layup just cause you have a high rating and then throw a dumb lob pass and blame the center

@jaylenboyd104 i thought he meant his reb stats will go to 85-90 but it all depends on his height and wing span. If he's 7'3 that's definitely usable

You probably don't play this game enough if you think I turned the ball over in panic. When an inside big cannot stretch the floor, he brings his match-up with him every single time anyone else tries to iso. I did mention that the pg was over dribbling, and we were struggling with shooting, but if you really pay attention, we were forcing a lot of these shots due to bad spacing. The PF and the C were all running around when people had the ball. I beat my defender in this game more than 4 times and should have had a wide open drive but he was there along with his defender. Meanwhile the opponents were able to spread the floor because their big could shoot. It's as easy as that. The reality is when he started to stay off the paint we had a bit of a run and made the game close.

Cap I win majority of my games as a inside big the issue is the center always wants to score than gets a attitude when they don’t then they don’t pass the pg the ball they don’t fight for boards they clog the paint they don’t look for shooters on rebounds they just keep going up most of these dudes avg angel Reese rebounds

Inside centers have to be created because they also have created a game where if you are an outside center you have no chance against an inside because of the badges and strength.. It’s 2k not the consumers

Random Rec is fucked anyway .. It’s hard for ten random people to play in real life .. damn near impossible to get two consoles with different connections and skill sets to figure it out lol

I see what you mean but even in years where we could shoot, some inside bigs were just not helping. The spacing is horrible when you have an inside big clogging the paint, regardless of if people can shoot or not. Some possessions might result in a wide open 3, or mid range or drive to the basket. Not all possessions are the same

I think it works better on taller builds than small. I've been able to get a good set of animations when since the patch but not as good as 2k24

@ u right bro rhythm shooting became so inconsistent i was shooting lights out yesterday and today i’m having very late push timing and excellent tempo sometimes it didn’t even register as a rhythm shot but it’s the same timing

You see, this game is just so inconsistent. I think they broke the shooting mechanics by adding rhythm shooting. Yes, it created a skill gap but it also added a lot of delay in animation. That's why it takes a bit for rhythm shooting to register when you press your right stick down to start the process

@uchgamerx Exactly! They know its frustrating enough to make most people either spend money making a new build or on VC to up their attributes. Sadly enough, even if you have a 99 3pt this year, you won’t see much of a difference. They know what they’re doing.

@ you have to google their patents etc! They had an NBA league and disbanded it because the game leads you believe you are playing a real sim but you are not because of out of control animations and comeback mechanics.
