Beta Chronicles - Portrait of Tracy
For our third single, we’re tackling "Portrait of Tracy" by Jaco Pastorius, an iconic piece for solo electric bass. For this piece, we’ve reversed the concept. Instead of taking a classical piece for or with violin and arranging a bass part, we actually layered a violin part over the original bass piece. It also features a beautiful violin solo from Guillaume (@guillaume05ch) which actually almost never improvised!
