I am a retired assistant fire chief and this brings me to chears.and i am so proud of my fellow brothers of public safety to stand up to be there for there fallen fellow brothers and sisters child and to support them and there family Dearing time time like this.. This is America and us public safety officers are still The American bravest because we stand up to the oath to protect and serve for the One that we do not know.i am extremely proud that I served the oath of our country and liberty to serve and protect our sitition of our country of united state of America.god bless the usa. My mom use to live in Santa Paula cuz my grandpa was working for Southern California Edison and she said she use to see that all the time until when she moved here to Hanford in 1992 and the my cousins use to lives there use to see that all the time until 1996 when they moved to Hanford also . We have an old mainline in Hanford that goes from Exeter to Huron it’s the San Joaquin valley railroad and their tracks have been there for centuries . And they very rarely run on that mainline . The San Joaquin valley locomotives only go about 5mph and only haul about 5 or 8 cars with grain or chemicals . Auctually the San Joaquin valley railroad just doesn’t go to Huron it also goes to Fresno and Bakersfield also

I saw this railroad about a week ago, it just looks so different, Thankfully all the main engines are still their and in good condition Edit as of 2/28/23: main 3 are still at filmore, along with several railcars, #14 is at santa paula, you can see it form the east crossing, where the loose caboose store is, engines are doing fine, cant say the same for rolling stock though. 2nd Edit as of 1/4/23, went thier a week ago, didnt see filmore itself, but most of the line to santa paual on the Sunburst railbikes, so the track is still in good condition

I think it’s wonderful they let her wear her dads turnout coat. A young man who enlisted in the marines right before graduating was forbidden to wear his dress uniform. That is seriously wrong! Congratulations on graduating. It was a beautiful tribute to your dad.

I personally pray every morning and night for all of our first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, Coast Guard rescue workers, military men and women. ALL of those whose job it is to serve and protect. Thank you for your service.
