Summi wanted something similar sounding to Golden Ridge's theme, as the map is soooorta like a dark and twisted ridge, with a wind section. I wanted this to really sound like its own song while also having a similar structure/"style" to Golden, i.e. "6/4 calm piano section followed by an intense rendition of the song that has louder dynamics + a descending piano arpeggio ". So yeah, this song is definitely in the same vein as Golden (which is also my second fav track from the vanilla game, woohoo!!)

My first real attempt at making threat music! No region or mod in mind, just a small piece to get myself used to the structure/composition of Rain World threat music. I do need to get better at recreating the outskirts-style slugcat vocal leads, that's a job for next time.
