Thank you and what a great video, it has answered a lot of my questions as my ancestors were Finnemore’s who lived on the corner of Bradley Street, noted on the map as Late Fynemore and John Fynemore further down the street. 😊
I wasn't aware how rich our history is sadly. I recently found out what the brand name JCB stands for it's pretty cool to learn even more cheers mate ..🇦🇺👍🏻🇬🇧
I found this very interesting. I wonder how many descendants of those original purchasers still live in Uttoxeter and the surrounds? Btw My mother was a Middleton and that name appears in quite a few locations on the map. Ancestors or relatives?
Thanks for an interesting talk. I spent the first 13 years of my life in Uttoxeter, and used to wonder about the Wharf and the canal when cycling to school along Cheadle road.
Nice to see the watercolour of Uttoxeter that I own used
My dad's paternal grandmother's family stemmed from Uttoxetter, the earliest record I have is Michael Bradbury
Thank you for all your work researching this and presenting it in such a clear and understandable way. Look forward to part two.

Another very interesting video, Thank you. Have only just found your site but already have seen all your videos. I am very interested in all aspects of Uttoxeter's past but in particular railways. Bit cheeky I know, but could you consider doing a presentation on the Uttoxeter to Stafford railway, that has an interesting history. Thank you
Thank you for your kind comment Alan. I'll pass on your suggestion for a talk about the railway to Dave for a possible future talk.
