I would rate the Wildcat as a good fighter since the maneuverability is good and the fire power isn't to bad either with four 50 cals. The only negative thing i have against the Wildcat is climb since it's pretty slow getting up to altitude. Other than that would highly recommend flying it or at least trying it out. @@Primarch19th Yeah the hurricane would have been way more powerful with 50 cals but at the end of the war with the spitfire pretty much being the workhorse the hurricane slowly became outdated and full focus went to the spitfire. Thanks for the comment.

Because their entire Royal Air Force logistic system and factories were set up for .303. Have to make do with what you have and is practicable.

I intended on my plane ripping apart but i guess the way i hit the bomber the game prolly glitched out or just didn't register the damage to my aircraft. Thanks for the comment.

@@jib1013 No worries mate. Couple of suggestions. Don't do so many angles, and overlay a commentary. "And here I'm closing in on the bomber formation..." "Now, the FW 190 had these guns and ammo..." Makes it more interesting. 🙂

My bad thanks for the heads up didn't notice i was doing that wrong till now lol.

I ended up deleting my sound files and everything went back to normal so it was a file problem but thank you for the help.

Some of my content is not factual but yes i did have a grandfather who Faught with corsair's in the pacific theater. I'm not British and have no family that could have served over there that i know about.

Yeah they had some of the very first ace's witch show's how efficient they were up until the end of the war. Even when I'm just playing the game BF- 109's can be very tricky to shoot down so i respect the pilots and the plane a great amount.

i know its the HF variant but I'm not to sure where exactly it would fall in place. Also that's a great question ill do some research thanks for the comment.

I'm pretty sure they're spitfire MkV b HF trop. the weird thing under the nose is a dust filter for the desert found on the trop version. the b is the type of wing (2 cannons and 4 303 machine guns) HF means it's engine works well at high altitude.

I'm gonna be 100% honest the AI in the game need way more experience. I know I'm not the greatest shot but i also don't just spray down and waste bullets unless i know ill get at least a couple hits. I do still mess up so i will take some blame on the gunnery though. Also thanks for the comment.

No, there were some Spitfires Mark I and II with 1 cannon and 2 machine guns on each wing like later versions, but not very many.

The raid on Wilhelmshaven in 1939 was very costly for the RAF.

yeah i was lucky i was able to recover but after the stall everything else went according to plan thankfully.

i set them to average so they would fight a little better on rookie the AI would try to just go back to base in the middle of a fight

@@jib1013 Thanks. I've flown the same engagement using the P40 against the C202, G50 and Bf109. On Rookie and Average the AI seems more defensive and will either return to base or get into a turning fight. Try Veteran and Ace for the AI and it becomes much more aggressive. Cheers.
