Bulletproof Vests | How do they work?
Просмотров 16 тыс.Год назад
Modern bulletproof vests save thousands of lives every year. Although a rifle shot may cause a few rib fractures, the vest will not allow the bullet to enter your body. An interesting material called Kevlar is the real superhero in the modern bulletproof vest, which has amazing tensile strength with good flexibility. Let’s learn about this life saving technology in more detail. Let's learn abou...

The captain could have saved a couple extra lives by heading back to the iceberg and dropping them off on it. But that’s just crazy.

Because the federal reserve needed to kill the independent bankers so they could tax us. This was no accident. When rich people cant get their way they kill who ever is.

This video is loaded with errors and oversimplifications that are misleading. Even resorting to outright lies. This proves that being a documentary doesn’t necessarily mean accuracy is given the respect it’s owed. Couldn’t even get the name of captain correctly. Pathetic.

I’m so fucking sick of these titanic videos. It’s not some crazy concept that a ship hit an iceberg and then sank. Move. The fuck. On.

The Titanic sank due to two main reasons "greed" and "pride". Those are two of the 7 deadly sins. They had reliable advertisements of icebergs in the area. They went ahead full speed.

The reason titanic went so fast is due to it being standard back in the day. The reason it was standard back in the day is due to our societies "Sky is the limit" policy. The crew were seasoned who made many trips before and saw no need to take extrodinery procotions. Problem is the water was very, very calm and they didn't have binoculars. And it didn't go full speed, it went two knots away from full speed which... Yeah. While you are not right, you are not wrong either.

Sir, I hope to use this kind of modeling & 3D animation to explain the physics and maths principles that are practically applicable to all the things we encounter in our daily lives, especially vehicles, and to make physics and maths more interesting to people. For that, can you give me a list of modeling softwares, AI tools & softwares like the one you used in the video?

HMHS Britannic was modified, particularly a double hull on her sides, to ensure she didn't suffer the same fate as her sister. The problem was that she still sunk after striking a mine, and her portholes opened didn't help either

The Iceberg is FAR from soft. The ice is highly compacted and extremely strong. It would tear through ships hulls as if they were made of tin foil.

As a naval architect , the reason why titanic sunk, was due to the temperature of water that cut the hull, AND the bulkheads were not closed to the bulkhead deck above them, so water could go from one compartment to the other. Today, all ships’ bulkheads are constructed due to the main bulkhead deck. So no water leak from one compartment to the other.

It's my understanding it took Andrews about an hour to ascertain the ship would sing. At that point there was less than 2 hours to evacuate the ship. The crew barely launched 18 of the 20 lifeboats. Had there been enough boats for all there wasn't time to launch them.

boiler room 5 was breached too. in the coal bunker which held for a bit. get all the facts correct before making a video. i respect all the models and such, but you really need to realize the major point here, titanic lasted longer then andrews said she would after the impact. she was tougher then you show. and as for brittle metal, how would they have known back then? it was the early 20th century. science was no where near where it is now. you need to point that out.

One HUGE thing the people often overlook for some reason is that when a ship is opened to the ocean/water the water is going to CONTINUOUSLY pour in. It's not like only a certain amount of water is going to come in and then stop. Because of this Ritanics water tight compartments were pointless as the water would just spill over into the next compartment after filling up the previous one, which is exactly what happened. Huge engineering oversight. It would have probably worked if so many of the compartments weren't damaged.
