Turn in Place in Wheelie Position

He then turns in place to the left in the wheelie position, ending up very displaced to the right in the finished position. WST score 2.

Performs Stationary Wheelie

Able-bodied 13-year-old boy simulating paraplegia performs stationary wheelie. His first attempt at take-off is unsuccessful, but the second attempt is successful. He maintains balance in a quiet relaxed manner, but his hands should be a little farther forward on the hand-rims. Little proactive balance movements of rear wheels. WST score 2.
Gets Over Obstacle

Able-bodied 13-year-old boy simulating paraplegia gets wheelchair over an obstacle. He uses a smooth moving approach. Pops too early. The casters strike the leading edge of the obstacle, then roll over it. WST score 2.
Rolls on Soft Surface

    Agree!! My dad was wheelchair bound. One person can easily pull the chair up those stairs. Common sense.

      Well, I did it on my own. 22 steps, three times a day in Italy. It is important to think of it one step at a time. Looking at it as a flight of stairs which you have to manage with a grown adult, is simply terrifying. One step at a time, means that you can cope. FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY!
