Hi everyone, we are a family of 8 {5 children and a georgous little puppy}. We enjoy going on adventures as a family, although sometimes its difficult as two of our children have disabilities.... One with ADHD/ASD and another with epilepsy, ADHD and various other things. Neather less this doesnt get us down and every minuete the children are enjoying themselves is a special moment to us. Another Christmas event. A fantastic light show at Staunton Farm in Hampshire. This light show was run by a company called Enlightened. It was a great show and defiantly worth the money.

Well, what can i say, apart from what an awesome day out. we have not been to the historic dockyard in so many years. the last time we went there was when i was working there before the pandemic covid 19. We had a great day out and defiantly will be returning as its a yearly ticket after all.

Wow, what a place. we have never visited before but we really enjoyed it and defiantly will be going again. so much to do for the children and adults alike.
WINCHESTER SCIENCE MUSEUM

For our first time, we visited the Winchester Science Museum. It was a great day out. It was fantastic learning and interactive experience and would highly recommend it.

Another lovely holiday for the Cannings family. This time with HAVEN at Rockley Park in Poole, Dorset. It was a lovely site and wish we was there for longer. I'm sure we will go back again soon.

Day two of the holiday was mainly spent with family that live on the IOW. we visited there house for the day and had great fun.

So here we are again back on holiday. This time we went to the IOW and stayed at Lower Hyde Holiday Park, located in Shanklin. it was a wonderfull start to the week and we really loved our caravan.

Were looking at going here in August, a 21 month year old, 8 year old, 16 year old and 2 adults...do you recommend it ? We will be doing some day trips so mainly use the park in evening
Definitely would recommend, it’s a lovely little park and is great use for “base camp”
I'm going there tomorrow and it looks cool I hope it is fun!
It’s a lovely little place to be fair and the kids loved it
Just having a stay this weekend. Its rubbish now.

It’s me Riley m Cannings
Rockley is one of my favourite parks , will be going next month for the forth time this year. We love the area as there is so much to do. Visit bournemouth ,Sandbanks and studland, Corfe, Swanage and Weymouth not to mention Portland bill, Recommend the various boat trips from Poole quay on a lovely sunny day... PS give the pods a miss, cramped and not great for kids.
We certainly want to go again at some point. We loved it there, and wished we was there for longer. Hopefully go back soon

this is by far one of my favroute theme parks but my fave is legoland windor btw i'm going in two weeks (they have new rides and a new dino) blackgang always brings memories :)
Whats the entertainment like for kids ?
Brilliant for the kids. The main start of the entertainment from 6.30 till about 9 is all for the kids with the park hosts doing party games/dances etc, and from 9 if you wish to stay it's more for the older people/adults.

@@emmacool4763 20 yrs ago when we were livin in UK. They had a bird of prey show. Indoor ferret show, lol. Adult ball pit thing......some massive owls, lol. Great place.

Just a quick question we are going in a few weeks can you go to the bar and order drinks again and pay by cash.
When we went, the covid restrictions where still in place, so had to buy from the b serve app. Not sure what the situation is now.

Initially we stayed in the silver bungalow with patio for one night, but we got moved on the Tuesday because of the accomodation cleanliness. We then got moved to a gold apartment with patio. So yes we stayed in both.

have heard lots of people saying the rooms arent clean, we are heading there tommrow so ive got my cleaning stuff ready.
Normally we are ok, but this time it wasn't the case. I think because of covid they have brought in contract cleaners because the normal cleaners are off, and of course they aren't doing the job properly.

It was great fun we loved it. We never get bored there with so much to do. Not sure when we are going back, but hopefully soon. No problem, glad you liked it.

Yeah, i knew what you ment lol. Neither does the adults to be fair. It's a little difficult for us sometimes with 2 disabled children, but we get there.

Love Lulworth cove, been there many times, great views. We always walk to Durdle door, but as we get older it's getting herd to do. Thanks for sharing it brought back some happy memories.

Yes it's a great place, it's been a couple of years since we were there last. Certainly like the Afghanistan but to show the kids what it was like when I served in Afghanistan.

Brought back memories, took my kids there, when they were small.
We always go when we have our merlin passes. More then once a year generally
i go here a lot for my holiday in the summer holidays but because of covid i cant go this year but we are going next summer
Yeah we was planning on going again this year but, like yourself we couldn't. So plan is next year.
