Thanks for your kind words and I am glad you enjoyed these legendary performers in this video. Yes a lot of the music in this genre today is different but I had thought that due to the popularity of Mickey and Bunny that some M/F couple would continue their tradition.. Maybe one day?

Prokopchuk and also the owner of Galaxy Records-Alex Moodrey were both born in NE saskatchewan.I had the good fortune to share the same stage with Bill on at least 100 gigs.Bill had the ability to excel at many many genres of Violin music from deep deep Ukrainian material to show fiddling to more traditional fiddle music.. A talent like no other

Don, this is one gentleman, Bill Petruk (violin and sax) that myself and my dad actually played with at many, many weddings and functions! This is as close to what it sounded like when I played in a band. Haha, we lived in Willingdon at the time with the Willingdon Polka!
