Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. It’s dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. Built with only a fraction of Kannadiga’s tax money. Remaining of our money is given to underdeveloped BiMaRU states. Imagine what Kannadiga’s could have achieved if all our tax money stayed with us.
For every 100 rupees Karnataka gives to centre it gets 14 rupees back while for every 100 rupees Maharastra only get 7.7 rupees back. Now don't pretend like karnataka is doing any favours to this nation. Maharastra pays more not just by quantity but percentage and per capita as well. Every country works like this.
