I just noticed about an hour in that your PC is was noisy. Is there a way to filter out the PC fans without it effecting the quality of the ASRM? 🤔 Isnt there an option in windows settings to turn off the PC fans? Also forgot to ask in todays stream but will you opening membership for this channel too? Could make it cheap membershipz and reuse your main channels emotes and badges

So. For Tenpai. I do like the cut of their jib and I do like the ideals to have an OTK beatdown deck and actually have it be good. I just don't like two things about them. That it's hard to Interact with them during Main Phase 1 due to all the protections they get, and that their combo lines are very linear and thus are very boring to watch. It's as boring as watching Snake Eye build that same 5+ Negate board or watching Six Samurai do Trishula Loops.

Since it seems you had some questions about how some parts of the combo worked, I'll explain using Game 1 as the example. I apologize for the novel. Jeff starts with Neo Space Connector, which summons a Neo Spacian from the deck. He chooses Aqua Dolphin for a couple reasons. The primary reason is that it's a Warrior, but Aqua Dolphin has a useful effect. It lets you discard a card to look at the opponent's hand, then destroy a monster in their hand if it has less ATK than a monster you control. While Connector and Aqua Dolphin are both weak, you can still get rid of several hand traps this way. Since both Connector and Aqua Dolphin are Warriors, they can be used to summon Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights. The deck has several other starters to get to this card, because it's about to do several things for Jeff. Upon being Link Summoned, it adds a Warrior to the hand, but monsters with that name cannot be summoned or activate their monster effects this turn. In this case, it's Igknight Templar. Ignknights (usually) don't have monster effects and Jeff doesn't care about summoning Templar. Isolde also lets you summon a Warrior from the deck by sending a number of Equip Spells from deck to grave equal to the level of the monster you want to summon. Infernoble Knight - Renaud is a Level 1 monster, so he only needs to send Infernoble Arms - Durendal for it. Renaud, upon being Special Summoned, gets to add Durendal to the hand. Isolde essentially just gave Jeff three cards. Justin uses this time to activate Kelbek the Ancient Vanguard. It summons itself and bounces a card if the opponent sends a card from hand or deck to grave. Isolde sent Durendal, to the grave, so Kelbek can send back Isolde. It doesn't negate anything, though, so everything still resolves. Durendal is equipped to Renaud, so Durendal's effect can activate. It adds a Level 5 or lower FIRE Warrior monster from deck to hand and destroys itself. The monster Jeff wants is Ignis Phoenix, the Dracoslayer. Unlike Isolde adding a Warrior, there are no summon or effect restrictions from Durendal. Activating both Instant Fusion and Instant Contact was somewhat unnecessary. They're starters to help bring out Isolde, but Isolde can only activate each effect once per turn. Really, Jeff only needed to activate Instant Contact to have an effect monster as a material for later. Instead, he activates both, re-summons Isolde, and uses Isolde as the material. Jeff now scales Igknight Templar and Ignis Phoenix. You mentioned that Jeff wasn't using these to Pendulum Summon, but he literally can't. They're both Scale 7. Sure, he could've added a Scale 2 instead of either of these, but he's still resource gathering. Instead, he uses Igknight Templar's effect. Reminder: Templar cannot activate its monster effects, but Pendulum effects are Spell effects. It destroys both itself and Ignis Phoenix to add a FIRE Warrior to the hand. This is where he gets his Scale 2 Igknight Crusader for later. Because Ignis Pheonix was destroyed, Jeff can summon an Igknight or a Dracoslayer from the deck and treat it as a Tuner. He chooses the Level 6 Igknight Gallant. With that and the Level 1 Renaud, he can summon the Level 7 Symphonic Warrior Rockks. Rockks can then add Igknight Templar from his Extra Deck to his hand, giving him his Scale 2 and his Scale 7. Before he Pendulum Summons, though, Jeff has one more thing to do. Because Rockks is a Pendulum Monster, he has the materials for Beyond the Pendulum (Rockks and Isolde, though Flare Neos would do instead of Isolde). Beyond the Pendulum, upon being Link Summoned, adds any Pendulum Monster (Harmonizing Magician) to the hand, but Jeff is no longer allowed to activate monster effects, unless he Pendulum Summons. Fortunately, his previous moves have let him select the exact cards he needs. Jeff plays Crusader and Templar, Pendulum Summoning all the cards he's been adding. He can summon from the Extra Deck to zones Beyond the Pendulum points to and from his hand anywhere. From the hand, he summons Harmonizing Magician. From the Extra Deck, he summons Igknight Gallant and Ignis Phoenix. Note that if he added Gallant or Ignis Phoenix with Rockks to use as his Scale 7, he would not be able to summon Templar because Isolde is still preventing him from summoning it. Because Jeff Pendulum Summoned, the Beyond the Pendulum's restriction has been lifted. Harmonizing Magician can now activate its effect, summoning Purple Poison Magician from the deck. This was very important because Timestar Magician has to use two "Magican" Pendulums for its summon. Now for the moment we've all been wating for. Timestar can now add Exodia's head to Jeff's hand. Timestar isn't done yet, though. The Igknight scales can use their Pendulum effect to destroy both scales to add an Igknight, but Jeff doesn't need another. Instead, Timestar can prevent the destruction of the scales and send a Spellcaster from the deck to the grave. Jeff sends Blue Dragon Summoner. Timestar and Beyond the Pendulum give the materials needed for Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians. Between the two scales and the three Spells in the grave, Selene gets five Spell Counters. By removing three, it can summon Blue Dragon Summoner from the grave. Using Selene and Blue Dragon Summoner as materials, Cross Sheep can be summoned. When Blue Dragon Summoner goes from the field to the grave, it adds one of Exodia's limbs from deck to hand. By cycling Selene, which Jeff has the materials for, he can add three limbs. How does he get the fourth? Well, that's where Cross Sheep, Ignis Phoenix, and Igknight Gallant come in. Cross Sheep gets an effect based on what type of card is summoned in a zone it points to. In this case, type refers to Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz. Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer, is a Fusion Monster that can be summoned from the Extra Deck by Tributing a Dracoslayer Pendulum Monster and another Pendulum Monster. This was being set up from the beginning. Because a Fusion Monster was summoned next to Cross Sheep, it can summon a Level 4 or lower monster from the grave. Blue Dragon Summoner is back. Cross Sheep and Blue Dragon Summoner are used to summon the second Selene. Blue Dragon Summoner adds the second limb. Selene summons Blue Dragon Summoner again. Selene, Blue Dragon Summoner, and Dinoster Power are used to summon the third Selene. Blue Dragon Summoner adds the third limb. The third Selene summons Blue Dragon Summoner again. Finally, Blue Dragon Summoner and Selene are used to summon basically anything viable. It doesn't matter at this point, but Jeff chooses Apollousa. Blue Dragon Summoner adds the final limb and that is all five pieces of Exodia. Fun fact: There are a few differences between this duel and the Yugi vs Kaiba adaption, beyond just skipping some sections, but this comment is too long already. I will be very surprised if you actually read this whole thing.
