I so wish I was able to do a retreat. I'm having a hard enough time saving up for a straight stitch juki, lol. Maybe one day I can go. My favorite gift this year has been the ability to have more time with my family. For so many years, work has gotten in the way, but since my husband started working for himself, we finally have a little more time for the whole family to be together. That is truly the best gift I have ever wanted and received. Happy holidays!

I got a quilt kit that I have been wanting for a while now for Christmas this year! Cannot wait to break it out and start making the quilt! Riley Blake's Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Pride and Prejudice quilt! That is my feel good movie so I am excited to have a feel good quilt to go with my feel good movie 😊

Wow. So many great new things to look forward to. My favorite gift this year are some baking spices my niece gave me.

One year the kids/grandkids saved as many Triscuit boxes (Grandpa's favorite) and stuffed them full of all kinds of presents for Gramps. He was all excited thinking he got enough Triscuits to last the next year - he wasn't so tickled when he got the to the boxes with undershirts, underwear and socks...LOLOL

The most creative item I 34:31 have used for wrapping a gift was a knit scarf with a pair of gloves and a stocking cap inside!

I’ve yet to make a basket or bag for the purpose of wrapping a gift…BUT, I have a bin beside my sewing machine for fabric scraps that are too small to repurpose (AKA “micro scraps”) and I use it as packing material for fragile items. It makes the prettiest confetti ever…but very messy.

I make a lot of bowl cozies, mug rugs, hot pads and place mats and then place in a cute personalized pillow case

I sew up make up bags and add brushes, face mask and soaps for my granddaughters
