Obviously Mel had a fall out with the two main founders of Simple Minds Charlie and Jim,a bit sad to see him here and of course his been replaced by Cherisse Osei,who is a fantastic session drummer in her own right.Mel looks like his lost weight and he looks in shape but doing long tours with Simple minds over the years can destroy a drummers body,its happened with Larry Mullen of U2 as well because he has had a neck or spine surgery,I think people dont realise how physically strong and fit touring drummers have to be and Mel is like 65!
