Yeah, the plutonia guy's arsenal is pretty cool. Simple but very thematically appropriate. This is what the arsenal in the original plutonia could have looked like if the developers had any plans to change it.

I still got a really old version of these maps. They were simply known as brutal doom co-op and they had a heroic version as well which added even more rooms and enemies. Guess they renamed them when they had people soloing them.

I love the idea of doom being turned into a survival horror game like Silent Hill. Reminds me of Cry of Fear which is basically a half life mod.
Cry of Fear is more of a Half Life mod that uses a few Silent Hill elements to make a survival horror game though
This is perfect the trembling of the hands when holding the handgun, the improper tea cupping of the handgun to show lack of experience in handling guns to show that the character themself isn't a hardend badass, also the atmosphere is spot on. I only wish this was on console I totally would love to try it out.
You could probably run this on a computer you'd find in a library.

I have tried. It just doesn't work. Maybe I did something wrong, I don’t know, but the author of the wad wrote on the wad’s page on doomworld: “It is STRONGLY encouraged to play this wad without mods”
@@gzdoomgaming2739 Hi. Wad author here. I can answer this. The wad uses a Dehacked lump file which is a file type commonly used in Boom or Vanilla wads to modify entities in the game such as weapons, monsters, and items. In this wad in particular I used it to modify the chainsaw sprites and animations, a decoration's sprite, and the Icon of Sin's Monster Spawner entity to only play a sound upon seeing the player before becoming dormant. What likely happens when you load this wad with mods that also have Dehacked lump files in them is that the game will try to prioritize which file to use based on load order which, in this video's case, seems to have prioritized the smooth weapons mod. You can tell because, at the very end of the map, the Chainsaw was supposed to be completely invisible and yet here it can clearly be seen. The chainsaw in this wad is used as a sort of pseudo-cutscene where the player swaps to the chainsaw upon picking it up and raises a sprite animation of the player's hands being overtaken by nasty flesh tentacles. Extremely janky, I'll admit, but it works unmodded and since that was my target I left it that way. This is why I stated that I STRONGLY recommend against modded playthroughs of this map for the sake of preserving the artistic integrity of it, but since I really don't have any sort of control over how you play I can only go so far as to warn you that this sort of thing happens. And this isn't specific to this wad; this is an extremely common error that occurs when you try to load gameplay mods to wads with their own gameplay modifications. To the point where, as a general rule of thumb, I personally don't play with gameplay mods. Sidenote: You are the only person I have seen to have, so far, uploaded a full playthrough of the map modded or otherwise. Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Wad Author here. The reason you might not be able to get gameplay mods working with this is because the wad includes a DeHackEd lump file which is a commonly used file type in Boom or Vanilla wads to modify or add weapons, enemies, or items in the game. Essentially, if you're loading up a gameplay mod with a wad that has its own gameplay modifications, the game can't figure out what modifications to prioritize and when it does the results may end up unplayable. You can kind-of see it at the end of this video, for example, as it seems to have prioritized the Smooth Doom's chainsaw sprite modifications over the wad's making it visible when it's normally not supposed to be. This is why I recommended that you play the map unmodified because stuff like this can and most likely will happen. But thanks for playing anyways, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
When I played the wad for the first time, I played without mods and did not see the animation with tentacles. Maybe it’s because I played at GZDoom, I don’t know. I really liked the wad. This is probably one of my favorites now. You did an amazing job.
