I have to say I really didn't like that computer generated voice just reading the product info as a script - no opinions expressed like a real person would and no actual video of using the product. There are much better videos out there showing how to use this product.

Surprisingly (and needlessly?) tricky to build well, especially as there are no instructions supplied. The rather thin walls also need bracing to prevent deformation setting in after a month or two. I used the stronger pieces of sprue the kit is supplied with to stop the front and back walls warping inwards, which seemed adequate. Recommended as a challenge for a slightly more experienced modeller.

Having built one of these, I am now trying to find out how the coveror at the base of the small square tower would be fed; any ideas?

If I may say so, "modern" is misleading. In fact it is in a 1950s - 1960s style, i.e. modern when the kit was first issued by Airfix. This applies to many of the ex-Airfix buildings range, excluding the actual railway buildings which are generally late Victorian structures. The houses and shops are generally 1930s-1960s style buildings.

Was just looking online at the kit. The descriptions and usually single image from box front do not really convey what's its like, does it have two full front/back panels, are the sides plain or detailed, interior detail etc. This video answered all those questions and actually showed this is far better than first imagined. Thank you.

On the bench frame sprue you have the two bits at the top, I can’t work out what they are for, any ideas?

I was a little disappointed with mine. I think it would work better with track larger than US HO. The tip was too large for HO rail. Also the color on the tube is lighter than the actual paint color. The weathered tie color dries with a shine rather than being matte/flat. I am sure I can find other uses for them but won't use them for what I bought them for.

Funnels ? No, there is only one funnel ! Rather easy to assemble, all parts are crispy and fit perfectly. No flags included, no airplanes. I painted mine in pre war sceme light gray all over. I like it.

The instructions are not easy to understand.
