I thought about it but I just really don’t want to change the weight or texture of the blanket.
The scalloped gathers are super cute!
Aren’t they! I really need to find a garment to use them on!
Name of the book?
The Art of Fabric Manipulation!
Subscription added Thanks for the tutorials
Thank you so much!
I cringe when you sew over pins. How often do you take your machine in for problems.
I have had this machine for about 17 years. I’ve never had a problem. As long as you sew with the pins perpendicular to your needle you should be able to sew over them fine.
wow :D
That 1800s caplet! 😍
Right?!
Hi, just want to clarify you will pull the top part downward over the outer fabric, like flipping it?

Hi, is there a part 2 to the video?
what should I do if I want the tucks to get narrower in width as it goes down? sort of like a spine would look like
you can make the tucks any size you like! Sew each tuck a little bit smaller as you go. So sorry for the very delayed response!
The slashing step doesn’t make any sense!
slay
Thank you. Just what I was looking for.
So helpful. Thank you

Wow! Fine tutorial. I've subscribed to your channel. Cos, I want to see more tutorials from you. Thanks
Great one! Very helpful :)
Nice demo. Thank you . I would like to see the one on the same right hand side page 65, lower left hand side (your finger is right on 14:25), III-25- "headed ruffle with box pleats between deep points contoured into each faced edge....blah...blah..blah..." :-) P.S. I still don't like this book. I wish the seams were at least color coded on diagrams :-)
Thank you VERY MUCH for demonstration!!!! I bought this same book many years ago, and in many cases I couldn't figure out instructions. Book was very expensive containing very poor quality pictures. I was so disappointed. You made it better :-) I wish you show more of techniques.
Any techniques that i didnt cover that you would like to see? I will be making more videos soon!
@@The_clothes_boss Wow! That was a "while ago" LOL. Sure, I would like see more of your talent. However, I no longer have this book. "Threw it out" to local library.

The Art of Manipulating Fabric by Colette Wolff.
omg i have that book on pdf and i dont understand half of it, im sooo glad youre doing videos, thank you sooooo much !
Paulina Upalia, same here!? I just discovered this channel and would like to see more of this Lady's handwork :-)
What is the book name please
@@Mumma0423 the book title is "The Art Of Manipulating Fabric" by Colette Wolff. P.S. This book has many poor quality black and white (gray) pictures. The manipulated fabrics are white with white tread and black drawings with black lines. Hard to see what's what. I wish the author used different color tread on fabrics/ drawing, so it would be visually easier to follow. I don't like the book at all. These videos are VERY handy and I am thankful for Gretchen Halle for showing and explaining how-to :-)
Very helpful 👍
