One of my favorite music pieces from this game. Yoko Shimomura sure knew how to compose a great soundtrack for this game, along with Super Mario RPG and the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

This is a truly Thematic song that fits tbh Ayas character more than the game. Arise Within You is. Powerful name that has to be talking about when faced when Eves beasts with manipulated mitochondria (I swear they used that word 300 times in the game that fans memed it so hard) and cells. It’s speaking to this young female cop who I love …she doesn’t take shit from a time especially Percy or weird ass male colleagues in the NYPD..this is realistic…she’s down to earth and speaks her mind and does have fears but come on a female Cop NY in what like 95-99 I forget when they said the game takes place but it’s reflective of when the game out. This is a video game intro/OP that you should never EVER SKIP. It’s shocking….letting you know all the bad shit sci fi shit that happens in an epic horror gem that you could (should) finish in a day 6-9 hours. I’ve never played a game especially horror/survival game like this. The 6 days which is like obviously very significant and hints that the game probably takes place during 6 days. The gore and beast transformations. Yeah cutscenes are spoiled but it was to HOOK players as this was a pretty big deal for Square Soft and I wish PS4 or Switch (they would never gore that till this day looks gruesome {the three headed child’s dog was my first trauma it sticks out the most and the baby ….at the end dog the game with the REALISTIC IMAGERY AND SOUND EFX of its GARGANTUAN body flying in the air then crawling in the ground making sounds. (Oh and the whole sperm hospital chapter where Eve the sexiest and craziest Demi sexual witch That floated (after her true intro when she crashed down on the piano then levitated and then a frozen tree Branch spawned quite literally from her VAGINA and then she laughed like all the generic female witch demons from like 90s horror movies.
