I use to DJ with these guys 20 years ago at a jazz club in Reading under the arches , Sad to hear about Robbie, he was truly a character, I love his stories he would tell me about playing his trumpet at the Torture Garden club in Covent Garden and all he would wear was a doctors coat and a steferscope lol

Okay...wow! This worked for me! I have been frustrated by my inability to hit the low F right off. I could work my way down to it, but not start with the low F. This fix has helped me to love playing my instrument more. THANK YOU!

God, dammit please help me only the upper joint of my clarinet is working

Beck check if there is cork padding underneath the linkage, if its missing then either buy really thin cork sheets from an instrument supplier like Dawks of Maidenhead. Over time small pieces of cork will fall out due to wear and tear and especially cork tenon joints and if the pads are leaking or falling off then a full service is needed.

for some reason my basic c not is not working and I'm getting worried

Bit mine was right and it still was not wroking

My low notes are good, its the octave higher, Bs, Cs C#s, both hands that are hard to get in a fast passage. I did have it repaired, but those notes still are hard to get. I did use some light paper on closed holes, and one was not grabbing the paper at all. That Infamous Eb key. I believe that could be the prob, but, I am afraid to take key off and "strengthen" the spring. So, I will persevere!!

I need help my clarinet is playing the low notes as if it had the register key but it doesnt

Hi,I'm wondering if you can help me. I assembled my clarinet correctly .The keys are sitting flush with the tone hole when I press the.Everything looks fine.But the lower keys won't play.As in ,no sound at all. Everything was fine a couple of weeks ago . If I offset the keys the bottom keys play fine .All seems a bit odd to be honest. Thanks in anticipation. Andy.

Many thanks for this video, just got a clarinet as a gift followed another youtube video regards assembly of the clarinet in the video they failed to even mention the bridge key so think I bent the leverage. Thought the clarinet was faulty, your vid has just help fix the problem

The problem I have is with my c. It feels as if it has a clog in the clarinet

Is it normal when I’m playing my high notes for example going from F to open G with the register key and when I let go my thumb playing open G it’s high
