I see exactly what you're doing here. This video was just a way to shit on Daima, so everyone could say it's bad compared to Z. This is an odd comparison. The new one is a friendly sparring match, while the Z one was more serious fight. Of course, the old one would look more heavy and violent. Comparing the Daima fight to their sparring in Broly would've been a better comparison. 😂

The problem with modern Dragonball fights is that they dont carry the weight and or impact like the old DB fights did not saying the modern dragonball has bad fight scenes.

I feel like dragonball has lost a lot of its grit since the introduction of the super anime. Z and before had a much different tone with a style to match with their shows. Me personally, could take the show more seriously because of the style they used in those older shows and in my opinion dragonball looks better in the older styles. It isn't fair to compare animation styles with two very different scenes, but definitely wish they would return to their older style of Z😉.

I feel like, whichever you prefer depends on your taste. If you like the more snappy punches you’d probably prefer the margin Vegeta fight, but if you prefer the more complex choreography and smoother animation, you would probably go with Daima. Both are great at what they’re trying to accomplish. X3

i guess no matter how good people animate new dragon ball fight there always old fan who thing that dbz fight is better even though dbz just use still frame with shaky cam 0:31 and repeat frame 2 in row 0:33 just spiting a fact lol do't attack me lol

Cel animation still has organic feel and motion feels like a living being. Even when drawing is terrible, it compensates with organic material. It's too expensive for today, but with millions of dollars they can work.
