Hi Richard, (I realize it's been a while and out of production now, but I am considering buying one); Question: How do you switch quickly from input (button A) to the returns (button B or C) with say the 8 drum tracks to check the drum performance quickly. Must you push (button B or C) on all 8 drum tracks to give a listen (on playback) to what was just recorded. And then switch back to button A on all tracks if the drum wants to record the parts again? Thanks in advance and a VERY WELL explained video. Best regards from NYC area. Phil

Is it possible to mix the 24 first DAW channels on the board (as the manual says) and mix the rest of the channels (if you have more) incl FX channels etc in your DAW. Then go back out to the master fader of the board, so that you can use analog outboard gear on the master channel?

Hi Sub Felony, yes you can bank across FAA much as you like 1-24 / 25/48 etc etc

Do they have banks for the people using more than 24 chans... I think you know what I mean. Just don't know how many chans the console has.

Hi !! Could you make a video recording something ? We would like to hear the preamps, the valves, the EQ...It would be nice a comparison test with another standard preamp...Come on come on, make something :)

Hello! How would you hook this table up if you'd want DAW control and surround monitoring from the computer? The only possible surround output would be the analog 5.1 out on the motherboard, or is there a way to output digital surround from a PCI-e slot to the board?

What spec is your computer? You say the latency isn't amazing with the firewire module, but if the computer had a high enough spec would it handle some 96k at 64/32 samples latency? I m very interested in getting one of these but am worried about latency. If it was a problem i really don't fancy getting the analougue module convertors and a pci I/O just because of cost :(

why are the level meters on the bridge not moving when you play back your track? now thats ...kinda boring if they only show the inputs from the console and not from the firewire return :(

Brilliant! thanks for posting the video. Just the one quick question. Are you able to bank up and down on tracks, say if you got 38 tracks in your project or however many over 24? Since one only got 24 channelstripps. Or do one have to mix the first 24 say and then go thru and mix the channlex 25--> X?

How do you feel the A/D converters in the GS-R24M compare to something like the new Avid HD 16x6 I/O?

You have a very nice console like a baby SSL aws. Are you able to control the pan pot in daw from the console up above the faders, or do you have to use the midi encoders in the center of the console?

@ShadowlightSE it appears the DAW is just being sent out to the Master channel and the individual tracks aren't routed to the separate channel strips on the console. There's no peaks on the meter bridge because nothing is passing through the channels on the console
