Pools almost full and their so very excited. This so far has been a great investment. Should really help keep the 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆 s from trying to run across the road to the ditch. Wish I did it a few years ago.

Dug a small area in the fenced in coup area for the ducks. Hopefully this will keep them from wanting to run across the road to the ditch. Little shits make a break for the ditch every chance they get and they're no match for the traffic and most won't slow down.

Thanks for all the info. Question on gearing with the tires, is it running stock gears? I see an option for 35t rear sprocket with an 11t pinion. Would that be the same as stock?
Yes still running stock gears/gearing. Stock drive sprocket is 10t, so an 11t will get you more top end, a little less low end. Should the wheel sproket be less teeth than the stock, then you'll gain more top speed, and lose a little more lowend torque (less wheely ability) which may/should be ok as it doesn't take Much to yank up a wheely. Stock is 10/36 sprokets.
@HBFTimmahh Thank you for the fast and accurate response. I just got the new Proline street tires which appear smaller diameter than stock, thinking overall with the different gearing it should maintain the same top speed which i got at 40mph. Looking forward to more content. Thanks again!
@@gmummy Yes, the Pro Line Supermoto tires are smaller than the stock MX Wheels. As you may have seen in my build, I used the Treal Wheels and the Vitavon Supermoto Tires, that are the same size as the stock dirt tires. So I would say you're likely correct in that the speeds will be about the same, maybe a bit faster if you went to an 11t drive and 35t wheel sprockets.
@HBFTimmahh Awesome, if only I had seen your video first, i would have chosen the same combo you have but hindsight is 20/20, hopefully your video get more traction, no pun, as I must have watched 100 promoto vids before bumping into yours. Thanks again!
was just talking to u in that live but he blocked messages. thx for the feedback bro. i was needing that
No worries. the stream fully ended so the live chat shut down. for 600ish, you can get into a decent Yokomo SD (Super Drift) and go from there. If you go with the MST get the 2.5 or newer rigs. But the comp guys got some $$ in their rigs for the most part
@@HBFTimmahh what is so expensive about there setups?
@@Jordan-qv1hq The entire thing. lol as example, you can buy a Yokomo SD rig for 749.00. It still needs electronics. Futaba Gyro can be between 100-140 depending what one. Good servo is 130 - 200. ESC 220-250. Motor 100 - 180. Then you'd still need body, wheels/tires and radio system. And the SD can still be upgraded from there aka Shark components or other changes/mods/upgrades. A GLAM rig is around 900 and up for the kit.
@@HBFTimmahh thats what i thought, it was everything that went into it that makes the price high but i figured the high price was from one thing like the chassis or something like that but thx for the info u gave me. good to know💯
Very cool! Looks great!

Nice looking swingarm. They shipped mine the 23rd, royal mail. It got to LA the 25th, but hasn't made it through customs yet. Good video 👍
How often you have to maintenance the chain and brakes
Not often on the brakes. stock can be a little sticky and stops the front wheel from free spinning. there are a few mods to help deal with that. chains vary. Lube it with dry chain lube. I have had to adjust my stock chain twice now. so I am on the 0 position chain tensioner pills. Otherwise, general maintenance.
Nice bike .mine should be here Tuesday. I hear they run off road better with some weight in the wheel. I grabbed some wheel reinforcing rings from hot racing and treal released an chain tension adjustable swing arm .
I have the red one which I have a few upgrades on. Hr rings Treal caliper losi to parts, waiting for Amain to get the adj Treal swing arms in stock myself
Spektrum radios won't connect the tx and rx with any throttle or brake input. Holding full brake, turn on your car... only problem is the rx doesn't connect. Let off brake and then go back to full brake, esc calibration has been interrupted. Let off brake, esc senses half throttle. Can't find a resolution for this anywhere.
Im not super familiar with Spektrum Radio gear. Was never much of a fan. So I don't really know as much as I should about them. Have you tried rebinding the radio to tx returning everything to default settings. then try to recalibrate to the esc?
I just put up a video on my buddy’s vintage moto collection with a maico. I like the direction your going with that bike. Those wheels are beautiful.
They are. Vitavon did a very nice job with them. I'll check out the vid when I get home
Nice bike, i don’t think my leg could handle a kickstart these days.
Ya man. My back doesn't do well with it. Legs getting numb from just sitting and pinching a nerve or ten... Think I may grab an old dirt squirter to play on. So long as I m not just sitting I should be good.
have you found out why stock servo is glitching now? mine is doing same
Not yet. Just saw it doing that when I made the vid. Don't think it was doing it Sunday but can't be sure. At any rate the 299LP didn't twitch any more than the stock servo did. I'll try my other bike tonight or tomorrow. It's still new and not yet been fired up or had a battery plugged in to it yet.
So is it good... How bout the RAW500?
Im in between LP299 n Raw 500
Think I saw one person using the Raw500 with no problems. Just overkill imo. Stock steering servo only has 38ish in/oz of torque, so anything over double that would be overkill imho. Seen one guy use a Smart 900 with that said... @@MdRai_75
Another likely suspect was proximity to the rx. I had the tx pretty close to the rx, and in a 2.4 system that can cause some funkyness. I'll try it again this week and make sure the bike is at least 10 feet from the tx.
Great info. Man Here I go down the rabbit hole with this bike 😅 subscribed!
Hey mate, having problem installing 2 speed, shifting rod is hard to pull push it doesnt go smoothly,i guess it has relation with stainless pin beside or im wrong,i wouldnt likevto remove the pin completely as some szggest cause of possible future issue, how did you get the shifting rod to have so smooth play, did you expand the hole in transmission cap?
Nice job on your bike!!
Thanks, Not done yet, but getting closer at least. Now to get the parts to finish the Maiko Look.
checked in late but watching.
Bummer, the Pronoto wouldn't hurt the track, the BMX guys are just jealous. Haha
I get it. some of the rcs are heavy and crash and can turf out things no doubt. But ya, the Promoto is made for that type of track, only smaller. lol At any rate, I had a good time for the 12ish minutes I wasn't running on it until my crash structure broke. Got an STL on Thingiverse yesterday and printed one last night that I'm installing as I type this. heh I wont be back running the track breaking my new 3d printed crash structure soon. lmmfao

Looks like its gonna be one HELL of a course!!!
Hoping. Seen my buddy drive by with an old frontend loader on a trailer today... Hoping I may see some clay by this weekend. And my Promoto would be nice too if it shows up. lol
I want one, still working on my trx4. Love that truck. I frayed the power wires yesterday and I'm hoping I didnt fry the motor or built in esc or the receiver. Shitty thing is, I think I did!

I've seen that happen to my next door neighbor turn out to be a Calcium deficiency he had to give his Birds more calcium
They get lots. from the layer feed, sometimes milk, we take the shells from the eggs we used and crush them and put it in their food. fair bit of Cal and Mag in the Water (on a well), and all the rest are rock solid. New one on me. I'll keep an eye on them, not sure which its from.
I have some crushed oyster shells I'll put out to make sure they got enouch calcium available.. got 7 duck hens and 13 chicken hens.

Sweet Build and that Body should do it well!
I ordered one of these then I saw your video (the same day I received it) and was ready to just send it back however I’m glad I opened it up I oiled the bearings first with Maclan lightning oil and to be honest it works great one thing I noticed is there’s etching on the upright showing you which way to mount the wheel second there’s absolutely no slip in the upright I’m pleased with the product I got definitely not saying it’s better then the dubro but it is a good product
Glad it worked well for you. Always a chance the one I got was just fubared. Thanks for your update/review. It will go far to help others. Hopefully, this is only an issue that was on my balancer.
have you tried the proline shocks? thats the route im going with my build.
Still running the stock on rear and same f setup. Been hella busy with work and not much time around home for RC recently. Summers can be cool, but often they suck due to much other stuff has to get done.

Yeah we don't care about the computer files or anything else buddy we wanted to watch a transmission build two people talking make it very difficult this is a horrible video because of it
It was a Video playing in the background. Reality needs to be heard. ITs a very simple build as far as the Tranny. Pretty self explanatory. I just took it apart to put in Ceramic Bearings and Re assemble.
Why is there two sets of God damn voices very frustrating
I didn't really say much during this vid so....
You could have muted and still watched. lol You maybe need to turn off the mind control programming you're suffering from... Reality don't care about what you wanted either. Just saying. lmao
@@HBFTimmahh it's not mind control I wanted to hear what parts you were using. You got the SSD transmission with Robinson racing but you didn't say what parts and I couldn't hear what parts. I wanted to know what parts you're putting in the build that transmission up because I know it doesn't come with all the parts you need. Wanted to build the transmission for an smt 10 but what I'm not sure is if the parts of an smt-10 transmission is the parts needed to complete the SSD transmission.
@@christophermears7738 FYI, i didnt say much in the vid at all. The Parts used was the SSD High Ratio Tranny, a VP Top Shaft, Fast Eddy Ceramic Bearings, and Robinson Racing Idler gear shaft. The mind control I am talking about is how people get so meh when anything political is mentioned, on a Non Political Show. I get it. But if we are unwilling to deal with the issues of real life, toy truck issues wont be a worry because there wont be any toy trucks if this shit keeps going. Just Saying. I didn't think much about it as it was pretty self explanatory by watching the vid.
What was the the pinion gear you ended up using ?
The Max 8 Combo I pulled out also had a 5mm output shaft so I just moved it over. think it was an 19t but I don't remember for sure. Next time I get into it I'll confirm.
@@HBFTimmahhthank you . I am interested in knowing .
I was reading in another channel you locked your ryft center diff, how is that working out do you like the center locked?
Ya, its been working out pretty well. If I were U4ing i may want a diff, but I'm not. mostly trailing and some crawling so the locked center works pretty well for me. Im in winter here and my hands don't do cold that well any more, so not really been able to give it a good thrashing for a bit, and will be mostly stuck until spring unless we get a few not blistering cold days.
We are winter here to. Thanks for the info.
Red Tailed Hawks aren't picky eaters. You already know this since this hawk was eating roadkill when you found it. As far as feeding her, any kind of raw meat will do. I always say, the bloodier, the better! I'd say chicken livers ought to do it, or any other innards from the prey. That's where all the nutritional value is, which is why whenever hawks eat their catches, they'll rip a hole in the middle and slurp down the innards! They can easily eat that in one gulp! Then the hawk will have a full crop and she'll be good for the next couple of days! Also, if you want to guess, I do want to become a Falconer one of these days so that I can hunt with a Red Tailed Hawk!
I didn't think of chicken livers. Had some in the freezer. Got her, which turned out to be a him to the Rehab Christmas Afternoon. Barb at the rehab thinks he will be ok in a few weeks or so. I'm going to call tomorrow actually and see how he is doing. I've lived most of my life out in rural/country type living. Love nature.
You're a good dude for picking her up and helping her out this day in age many wouldn't have not all superheroes wear capes
It was a fairly busy road. Someone would have stopped if they thought she needed help. thinking she got hit just prior to me getting there. Thankfully, the area I live in is pretty responsive to nature. We're kind of a Rurual community, even though its over 80,000 in the county.
OK,Yeah I'm watching you go from good to better. In a heart beat, if you let it. But only if you have to.
Wish your video was closer to get a Better view
Yea. I hear ya. I only have the one cam and its not the greatest Cam (Creative 960). I should really try to save some money up and get a better pair of Cams and some audio/video hardware
@@HBFTimmahh that’s kool I understand bud thank you for this video very useful information to the beginners like my self hope when you get your new camera you remake this video to get a better visual PLEASE
Will this fit into a rustler? Does it effect steering with the way the gears are made?
Ruslter uses Slash arms? OR Bandit Arms? So long as it is either the Bandit or Slash arms, and the bulkhead, rear shock tower etc is the same, no reason it wouldn't (2wd electric Ruslter anyways. Its a Traxxas platform rig based on the 2WD Slash, so that type of Traxxas 2wd should work. Im not familiar with a Rustler though to say 100% yes its good to go otherwise.
Whats the difference between the 13.5 wing and the tall boy i want a long wing with big sides
I never ordered the standard wing so I can only guess, but I'd presume the non aggressive wing was just smaller and lays a bit more flat than the Aggressive Wing I put together here.
this aggressive wing is about 2 inches tall on the sides, and the center flat can be adjusted for more angle or more flat.
Wish i could see closer to what and how your taking it apart
Ya, my cam isnt the greatest, I need better lighting and ability to get clear close ups. I try to explain as much as I can, and try to remember to get everything in the cam frame. heh But I do miss it form time to time.
